i hate the beach. i always have, since i was a tiny kid running away from crabs or complaining about the sand in my ears and salt in my hair. but there i stood, in california, with my toes in the sand, the world in my hands. wanda stood beside me, hand intertwined with mine. "lets have an adventure" she said quietly, smiling as we watched the sun set in the sky, the ocean lapping at our toes. i cocked my head in confusion. i twiddled with the sleeves of my sweater, chuckling softly. "your heads in the clouds" i giggled, leaning my head on her shoulder. "but my gravity is most definitely centred" she pouted. i touched her neck softly and she copied the gesture. "you in those little high waisted shorts. god, you are beautiful hm?" she groaned, kissing all over my face. i squealed, pulling back and laughing. "hey it tickles" i giggled. she pulled away and smiled at me as i stared off into the wide world. for a moment, we were silent. "wanna know what i'm thinking about?" she murmured after a few minutes. i nodded gently. "well, you. me. one love, two mouths, OUR love, one house" she grasped both my hands tightly in the holes of my sweater. "no shirt, no blouse" she smirked, tickling all over my torso as i screamed with laughter once again. "baby" i wheezed, slapping her arm softly. "c'mon doll, its too cold for you here. let me hold you hands, through the holes of your sweater. cute" she chuckled, dragging me across the beach. i kept my eyes on her face, watching as she smiled, the yellow and orange hues of the setting sun tracing the crevices of her face. i pulled her hand back, sending her to a halt. "what is it?" she asked. i pointed to the edge of the beach. "see where the sunset starts all the way over there, what seems like hundreds or thousands of miles away?" i smiled to myself as she nodded, looking confused. "and then see where it ends all the way over the other side, even further away?" i continued. she scrunched her nose, raising an eyebrow. "well, even that doesn't equate to how much i love you wanda" i blushed. i watched as her smile grew from a small smirk to a wide, beaming grin. she grabbed me by the waist and kissed all over my cheeks once again. "i love you. i love you. i love you" she chanted, pulling me into her chest tightly. "i love you more wanda"
