"i just cant get it!" i groaned, running my hands through my hair with frustration. bucky chuckled softly at my failed combat attempt. "its okay y/n, you'll get there" he soothed, showing me the movement i was learning one more time. i attempted to copy him, twisting and contorting my body but i fell to my knees once again. i yelled out, more from anger than pain. bucky rushed to my side, kneeling beside me and placing his hand on my shoulder. i almost flinched in shock from the closeness of our bodies. "y/n! are you okay?" he said, his eyes wide with concern. "yes! i'm fine. or i will be when i get this damn move right" i grumbled. he placed his finger under my chin, moving my face until i stared at him directly in his eyes. i never noticed how beautiful they were until then, the little flecks of colour like stardust lighting them up. he placed a soft kiss on my lips, caressing my cheek softly. i melted into him. "you've got this. i believe in you. c'mon!" he pulled me to my feet, boosting my confidence. he stood beside me, repeating the action. i studied his movements and mirrored them perfectly. "yes!" i grinned as bucky cheered. he wrapped his arm around my waist and left another peck on my lips. "maybe i should try and motivate you like this more often" he smirked.
