He flatlined.
Conan's whole world broke. Nurses and doctors rushed in, trying to save the detective.
He was ushered out of the room as they worked on him. He couldn't handle it. What if he's gone?
Conan stood outside his room, perfectly still. His led was a bright red. His stress levels were through the roof.
He waited there for an hour and that's when the doctor came out.
Conan immediately looked over at him. "Is he okay?" he asked quickly. He could see the way the doctor looked. He knew the answer.
"I'm sorry. We couldn't save him" the doctor replied sadly.
Conan looked at him in utter shock. He couldn't handle it. He would never be able to hold Gavin again. Never touch him. Never kiss him.
So many emotions welled up inside him. Too many emotions. He fell down to his knees, stress levels rising quickly, till, they hit 100.
He didn't self destruct because he was more advanced. He would just reset when exposed to too many emotions, stress, etc.
Conan was gone. Reset. A blank slate.
Now, he would get to see Gavin again. He would get to hold him. And kiss him. And be with him forever.
