Reyna's POV

Where in the name of Neptune am I? This wasn't Croatia, heck no. It looked like she had been teleported to a space opera movie. Slightly less colors than an '80's Japanese videogame, space tech, a bunch of non-humans. Reyna could almost hear the soundtrack.

She began to weave through the aliens and whatever substance the yellow liquid was. This feels familiar, like I have actually seen a movie that takes place here.

She heard a voice that also seemed familiar. Reyna turned to see a woman thanking a green skinned alien as she walked closer to Reyna. The woman had long brown hair pulled back, ruthless dark eyes, and was dressed in more Earthly standards. Before she knew it, Reyna was walking toward the woman. "Excuse me, Miss, I'm a bit lost, you wouldn't happen to know your way around here?"

The woman smiled at her. "Of course I can help, Lady...?" She left the ending off, waiting for a name to put to Reyna's face.

Never tell a stranger who you are, Reyna reminded herself. "Alejandra. And you are?"

"Lady Astrid." It's probably just custom for her to address everyone with 'Lady.' "Where do you need to go?"

Reyna thought for a second in where she should go. "Is there a place I can stay the night, Lady Astrid?"

"I believe there is, Lady Alejandra. I must warn you, the lower level has a bar, and alcohol, a bunch of ruffians, and a lonely young woman are never a good mixture."

She has a fair point. Normally I wouldn't even worry, but I haven't seen any alien weapons yet. Maybe I can't just swordfight out of any trouble I run into. "That is...unfortunate."

"I am staying there tonight. Perhaps we can share a room. Drive off the drunks together. You are the first woman I've seen here that isn't enslaved."

"Enslaved?"

"Yes, the Collector has some slaves. I disagree with the practice, surely, but I can't exactly change his mind."

The Collector? Oh my gosh! This is the place in Guardians of the Galaxy, and she, she is Lady Sif, Norse goddess of war! That's why everything feels so familiar! But this can't be possible, can it? I mean, Marvel is just fiction. I'm probably hallucinating. There's some sort of magic. What, I'm thinking of Jason, and he liked Marvel, so I start hallucinating Marvel? And it doesn't even make sense, Sif is Asgardian. What is she doing on the Guardians of the Galaxy set?

"Are you alright, Lady Alejandra?" Sif asked.

"Y-yeah, just a headache." My gut is telling me I'm really here, oh, what is here called. Knowhere, that's right! And that's really Sif. She must be undercover if she's using the alias Astrid. Guess I better go with her, since I trust her more than the Collector. "It's fine, it just happens occasionally."

Sif nodded. "I think it is time I retire, Lady Alejandra. Let us get some rest." The duo walked to a building, Sif glancing worriedly as they walked. Reyna too looked for any sign of trouble, not knowing what could've brought Sif to Knowhere. Only that it must be bad.

They got to a building with people spilling out. The smell of beer was obvious. Sif and Reyna pushed past the intoxicated men and rented a room. They pushed through the bar. At one point, a drunk guy tried to wrap his arms around them. Reyna wasn't even sure if he could tell what gender she was. But she and Sif still pulled their blades out and threatened the man with them. They made it up the three flights of stairs without any other problems.

Sif's POV

Sif noticed Alejandra's confused glances when they had walked to the intergalactic inn. She looked like she had no idea how she had gotten there.
