Jack's POV:
Me an' the Newsies were talking an' then I realized it was almost time to deliver papers.
"Dibs on selling at Y/N 's house!" I called. Even though we NEVER called spots, (hah-) Y/N's house was like my unspoken selling area. The boys started to protest. See, we all liked Y/N but I was head over heels for her. Since she lived on the other side of the city, I finished selling my papes and then walked there. While I was walking there, I had the most wonderful thought. Y/n an' me together in Santa Fe.
I was too busy daydreaming about our future together to realize I was almost there until i ran into her door. Y/N opened the door with tears in her eyes and some streaming down her face.
"Ey' Y/N. It's okay." I said, awkwardly patting her shoulder while she was heaving sobs. She managed to get two words out.
"I-I'm moving. " she said
"Where?" I said, trying to speak clearly and not break down crying.
"S-Santa Fe." she sobbed out.
I felt my heart lift. Santa Fe?! I'm going to go there when I save up enough money! There was a possible future for us! "Hey.." I lifted her chin up and kissed her.
Y/N's POV:
He kissed me!
"Wait for me there." He instructed, kissed me once more, and then left.
"I'll wait. I promise
