Riley's POV.

I wake up and blink myself awake. I sit up, feeling sore a bit, but much better than before. I'm alone. I look at the digital clock on the nightstand next to the bed and see that it's three in the afternoon. I'm not even surprised. That was the best I've ever slept. Ever. I stretch a bit, then get out of bed and walk downstairs. I hear my dad talking to someone on the phone.

"Yeah...No, she's just slept and slept like she hasn't slept in God knows how long...With me...Yeah...Hopefully some time soon...yeah, we can start today...Okay, I'm gonna go check on her...Yeah...Okay, see you then." He says before hanging up.

"Hey." I say.

He jumps and turns around, "Oh. Hey, sleepyhead."

"Did I scare you?"

He laughs, "A bit. I'm just not used to having another person in the house yet."

I nod.

A while ago, the guys and my uncle, Nick, showed up to keep re-do my bedroom a bit. I wanted some time alone though; just to think about what my life is going to be like from now on. I might actually be able to live somewhat of a normal life.

I'm in the back yard. I put on a dark gray and black maxi dress one of the girls got me; just to try something different. I'm sitting in the grass, playing with a dandelion I found. The sun actually feels pretty nice on me. I didn't get to go outside much before, as I was either being kept in a basement or it was raining.

I let my mind wander. Five months from now, we'll be back from Warped Tour. What then? It'll be the end of summer. Will I go back to school? Will I be ready for that?

And what about everything else I've been struggling with?

"You better hope none of those crazy reporters wanders back here." A female voice says.

I jump and then around. There's a door in the garage that leads back here, so that's how I was able to get out here without anyone seeing me. I assume that's how she did it too. I recognize her as one of the girls from last night. Black hair and blue-green eyes. She's about my height, maybe a bit taller. She's very thin; very pretty.

"Oh. Hey. Jessica, right? You're with Ricky."

She nods, "It's my day off work today, so I came with him. Though, I'm not much of a handy-man. Mind if I join you?"

I shrug, "Sure."

She smiles and sits next to me in the grass, "Your room is looking pretty cool from what I could see."

"Yeah?"

"Mhm." She says, "They're all so happy to have you back."

"Well I'm happy to be back."

"I'm sure." She says, "Listen...I know we don't know each other very well, and that none of us have had anything happen to us that even begins to compare to what you've been through...but if you ever want to talk, I'm always here; we all are."

I give a small smile, "Thanks."

She nods, then changes the subject, "You have really pretty hair."

"You think?"

"Yeah. You mind if I play with it a bit? I could braid it for you."

My smile grows, "Okay."

Chris' POV

Riley's room looks very similar to how it did before, just a bit more...grown up. All of the accents on her bed are black, black damask curtains; a large black bookshelf. The walls are the same purple that they were before, and a lot of other things were the same. On the center of the back wall is the same big black dresser with a mirror attached. In front of her bed is another dresser with her TV above it. A couple of her plush dolls from she was little from when she was little sit on her bed, and we'll probably get her some more decorations from Balz's oddities shop to make it more...homey.
