Riley's POV
I haven't gotten much sleep, but not for the same reasons as when I was back home. I keep trying to think of how I should tell them, or if I even should tell them at all. I mean, I'm going to have to tell them eventually, I know that. The question is: when?
"So what kind of boys do you like?" Sabrina asks.
I roll my eyes. Sabrina is very smart, but this is getting stupid. I like that she's trying to bond with me and make "girl talk" or whatever, but I'm getting tired of the boys conversation.
"Come on. There had to be someone we've seen on this tour you thought was cute. Ohh. What about anyone at your old school when you were...'living' in Washington?"
I think a minute on how I should word this.
"Well...there was this one person..." I start.
"Ooh I knew it! Spill it girly!"
I laugh. Sabrina and I are hanging out in the back lounge of the bus as we drive to our next location: Denver, Colorado. I've gotten a lot closer to Sabrina over the last couple weeks doing merch with her. I feel like I can talk to her...
"Come on, just gimmie a name." Sabrina says, smiling.
I pause a minute, then decide to just spit it out, "Max." I state.
"Max." Sabrina repeats, "He sounds cute. Was he cute?"
"Well Max is actually -"
"Actually, nevermind if he was cute or not; appearance isn't everything." Sabrina says, "But I still want an image. So tell me more about this 'Max' character. Tall, short?"
"About an inch or two taller than me."
"Oh. So then really short."
"Hey!"
"Sweetheart, you're four foot ten. I'm sorry, but that's short." Sabrina laughs, "Okay, so give me more. Hair, eyes?"
"Both brown."
"Good music taste?"
"A fan of MIW; you finish the puzzle."
Sabrina laughs, "So really good music taste. Did you guys ever talk?"
"Yeah."
"And?"
I shrug, "It was...nice."
"Well he sounds like it."
"I keep trying to tell you, Sabrina. Max isn't -"
"Sabrina!" Ghost calls from up front.
"What?!" Sabrina calls.
"It's your turn to drive!"
"Then use my driving list name!"
"Mrs. Malfoy, it's your fucking turn to drive!"
Sabrina laughs, "Coming!" She calls, standing, "We'll talk later, okay?" She says to me.
I nod, then she walks out.

"'Sup, kid?" My dad asks, hopping up and sitting on the edge of my bunk next to me.
"Hey." I say.
"You liking Warped so far?"
"Yeah! It's been really fun, and I'm really happy that I get to see TJ again."
"Good, I'm glad you're happy. You've been doing a really good job; I'm proud of you."
I smile, "Thanks, Daddy."
