Terrence POV

I was highly ecstatic when I got home, I couldn't stop smiling

I reached my room dropped my school bag and changed my clothes, I put my dirty uniform in the basket where I put my dirty clothes and went out of my room thinking of going downstairs to watch TV

My legs took a halt when I heard low sobs from afar

I followed it and found myself on standing on my sister's door, that got me frowning as annoyance start to build in me

I open the door and find Teresa sobbing

"Hey" I said looking at her standing in the doorway "what's wrong"

She sniffed wiping her tears with the back of her hands. "I'm okay... just school stuff" she sniffed again

My sister and I tell each other everything I guess that's what twins do or could also be just us

She was hiding something from me I knew it, so I entered her room to fish out whatever was making her look miserable

"Wanna tell me about it?"

I sit next to her but she doesn't make a move to look at me, instead she stares in open space

"I sat with Mia like i normally do today ...i don't mind that she ignores me nowadays bu-"

"Wait? She ignores you?" I cut her off

"Yea" she sighs "she started ignoring me a week after we opened school ...she hangs with older people now, with fashion and make-up and all...she barely talks to me" she sobs

This earned a frown from me

"Why didn't you tell me about this" I scolded "you could've changed schools to mine his might affect your grades"

"She let her friends chase me away from the table in the most embarrassing way almost the whole school witnessed it ...they said I don't match up their fashion.. retarded spoiled brat" she whispered the last sentence

Tears rolled down her cheeks and it just broke me, I put my arms around her telling her "it's okay, we're going to fix this" I muttered

I never knew her very own best friend would change so much within a short time span

My sister was very emotional when it came to things, she had to get away from her before things turn sour

I help her stand up and we both go to the living room, we watch TV for two hours my goal being to distract her away from all her friend's drama

We studied an hour later

Our parents normally come home at 04:30 pm, we make sure they find us studying so they know that we're indeed studying otherwise we get scolded for not touching any academic books

Mom arrived first around 04:15

Teresa glanced at me immediately she heard mom greet someone outside

"Should we tell her now?" Teresa asked me

"No let's wait till she freshens up and relaxes"

"Okay" she said and went back to studying

We hear the front door open and we both turn our heads and see our mother come in

"Hey babieeess" she smiles coming to the dining table where we were studying

"Hey Mah"
"Hi Mom"

She hugs Teresa and kisses her temple and she does the same with me

We both stay quietly awkward not sure how we start telling her about Teresa's issue
