Catherine POV
I was on my way to my class when I saw Teddy just a few steps to the door of my class
He looked pale and surprised like he got some bad news
I wonder what's wrong with him
He might have lost somebody that was important to him I guess, what else would be worse than that
I entered my class and sat on my seat which was close to the window
Is he okay?
He's obviously not okay
Should I go shake him or something and get him out of his daze
He's been standing there for ten minutes
I know he didn't know me but I was really concerned for him, I was about to go ask him if he was okay when his friend approached him
"Dude" his friend called him but he gave no response
"HEY!" He called again
No response
"Terr!! Terrence!!"
Terrence
So that's his name
Such a nice and unique name
Terrence's friend put his hands on his shoulders and he got him back to earth
"You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost ...I've been calling you for a while but nothing what-" Terrence's friend said
"I'm okay" he said and started walking away
That was rude of him, his friend was worried about him
"Hey dude where are you going classes ain't over yet" his friend said a little louder for Terrence to hear since he was a little far
Terrence waved him off with his hand and continued walking
Our Social studies teacher entered my class and my attention switched to the him immediately
This teacher was always on time unlike other teachers, he was already here immediately after the bell rang
The classes went by smoothly and before I knew it, I was going home
My phone vibrated in my school uniform skirt when I was on my way home, I took it out of my pocket to check who was calling
"Hello"
"Hey Cathy mwaweluka?" (Hey Cathy have you Knocked off)
"Yea"
"Alright sindili kunyumba ma key ali pansi pa mat" (I'm not home, the keys are under the mat)
"Okay muli kuti? (Okay where are you)
"Ndikuuza ndikabwela" (I'll tell you when I come back)
"Okay I'll be waiting"
"Bye"
"Bye"
I put my tekno with buttons phone back in my pocket
