Third POV

I hope they're alright

Catherine thought

She was worried about them, their friendship just took the wrong turn with how everything went out

Terrence really loved his sister, that made her crave for a sibling

She's never seen him that angry before, it gave here chills and made a mental note to never be on his bad side

"1! 2! 3! Yesssss" Victor screamed

She flinched from her father's screams

"Owww noo" Claire said

"What? What happened? Who won?" Catherine asked

"Broc Lesnar did" her father cheered

"Awesome" she said

Victor frowned

"You okay? This isn't your normal reaction when our superstar wins" he asked

"I'm okay Dad" Catherine smiled "I'm just tired today"

Catherine noticed that didn't convince him so she thought of escaping to her room

She got up

"I'm going to sleep now"

Victor was surprised to see his daughter who was always in a bubbly mood when watching wrestling not bubbly

Claire noticed it too

Victor looked at her expectantly

Catherine heard a faint "I'll talk to her" from her mother before she climbed the stairs to her room

She lied on her bed and observed the ceiling

It was kinda awesome to have her own room now and honestly she loved it

She had her own personal space

But that's what she wasn't thinking at that moment, her mind was clouded with what happened with her friends

She didn't know how to communicate to them because she didn't have their numbers

Wait

She did

She had Terrence number

Should I call him?

He never called her after he took her number which just discouraged her more about being with him

But that wasn't the issue, she just wanted to check on him and know if he was okay, if Teresa was okay

You guys are friends now you can call him

It's okay

There was that but she just didn't know if she could, she had to check up on him though

She felt nervous beyond core and she battled with her mind about calling him

She took her new phone, iPhone 14 her father bought for her

She tapped on contacts and scrolled through the numbers to pass time until she stopped on his

She looked at his number

She really stared at it

Just call him

She felt butterflies all over her tummy by just thinking of calling him and wondered how his deep voice would sound like through the phone

Just call him man

She left her phone on the bedside table and turned away from it

I just can't
