CHAPTER 10

Terrence POV

"ANSWER ME DANMIT!!" I heard my father shout

What now so early in the morning

I sighed

"YOU HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO LIVE UNDER MY ROOF AFTER CHEATING AND YOU DARE IGNORE MEEE!!" he shouted

I got up quickly and headed down stairs

Not again

Everyone was in the dining room indicating they were having breakfast

"Privilege?" Mom asked standing up looking at him

I was behind her so I couldn't quite see her face but her voice sounded broken when she said that

"You still haven't seen that you're wrong in all this?" She asked  "I'm not cheating Ronald" she shouted  "if you wanted me to leave you could've just said so" she said leaving the room

She passed by me and I saw tears all over her face, that made me mad

This fight was getting out of hand and by the looks of things mom would actually leave if Dad didn't do something about it

She can't leave in her condition

I walked in the dining room finding my sister seated looking helpless and Dad about to leave the room

He passed by me

"All this would've just ended if he apologized" I murmured sighing

That stopped him, he turned and looked at me slightly angry

"What?"

I was scared but he heard me already, I had to man up and speak for my mom

The damage was already done he was going to shout anyway

"This would end if you apologized Dad ...mom always tell you where she is and when she's late-"

"She was way too late this time" he clenched his hands

"And you concluded that she's cheating?" I asked him "because he was with Uncle Jordan?"

"Don't.Say.That.Name.In front.Of.Me" he said greeting his teeth "you're on her side? Doesn't it occur to you that she came home late and was with himmm" he said raising his voice

"You're misunderstanding th-"

" DON'T TELL ME I'M MISUNDERSTANDING ....if you say your mother isn't cheating as you put it then why was she late?" He asked

That shut me up

"Seeing as you're on her side, she might've told you so tell me ...come on speak up" he said folding his arms and narrowing his eyes at me angrily

I couldn't tell him we were expecting a new member in the family, I didn't want him to find out like this

I didn't want to be the one breaking the news to him

He nodded as he raised his eyebrows

"You're hiding it ...pathetic" he said as he started walking away

"I know she's not cheating dad just let her explain" I said following him

"LEAVE IT" he said turning around pointing his finger at me "HAVE RESPECT AND DON'T INTERVENE IN ADULTS ISSUES"

What was with him and shouting

He was honestly scary in this state but I had to stand up for mom, she was just crying and walking away and nothing was getting done, I didn't want my parents separating over a misunderstanding
