Third POV

He had messed up

For the first time in his life, he was serious about a girl and it went sideways

Maybe settling for one wasn't his thing he thought, he should've let her be and not cross the line like he did

He regretted and didn't regret what happened at the same time

Fred wanted to set things right with his friend, he didn't want to lose their friendship

If Terrence didn't trust him with his sister then there was nothing he could do to change his mind

He didn't want to be with Teresa secretly behind Terrence's back

He thought of confronting and telling Terrence how he felt about his sister and that he'd never do anything to hurt her, if he didn't believe her then he'd see what to do

He wanted to settle this before the day ended, he felt the need to

How do I contact him to meet up

He sighed

I'll just call his number and see how it goes

He took his phone and dialed the number Terrence used over the holiday

It rang

***

"You shouldn't really shout like that in your condition" Aunt Ria said

"Nanga chokuwa choncho ndimachiwona (I don't see why they were shouting)"

Aunt Ria shook her head, the kids went far without thinking of their mother's condition

"You should go rest, sir won't be happy to see you like this" she said

Sharon nodded

She was right, she had to calm down at least for the baby if not for her

"Alright I'll go to my room"

She went upstairs to her room and laid on the bed

They never quarrel

Why did it reach to that extent

She didn't like her kids fighting, she wanted to help them with whatever was happening

Seeing them shouting at each other like that didn't make her happy and she couldn't think straight

Now that she was alone she thought and knew what to do

She was going to-

She heard her phone ring, she looked at it but it wasn't ringing

Must be the other phone

She opened the bedside drawer and took the phone

Fred flashed on the screen

She figured it was Terrence's friend as all her friends didn't have this number, she swiped across the screen and put the phone to her ear

"Hello"

"Hi ....Mrs Nowels?"

"Speaking"

"I'm Terrence's friend, I wanted to ask if I could talk to him if that's okay"

"Oh alright I'll call you back"

"Okay thank you" he said before cutting the call

Whatever he wants to tell him must be important if he called his friend's Mother's phone
