CHAPTER 54

Terrence POV

Catherine avoided me four days straight, she never gave me a chance to talk to her

I was fed up with this, I was literally dying inside trying to fix this and she was making it difficult

She'd leave whenever my sister and Fred left us and change directions when she saw me or if she saw me approaching her

We were currently in the car having reached school just a minute ago

"Are you okay?" My sister asked

"Yeah" I nodded

"You really don't look happy, you think I'm buying that?"

"What do you want me to say Resa" I sighed

"At least tell me how you really feel, I'm your sister and you know we don't keep secrets" she said sounding concerned

"I feel like crap, I hurt the girl I like and now she won't even look at me" I said and looked at her "I don't know what to do Resa, I've tried but I don't want to chase her just like how I did with Aimee ...you know where that got me" I smiled at her sadly

"Just talk to her Terrence it's eating you inside I can see that" she placed her hand on my arm

"Only if she gave me the chance but looking at how she's avoiding me, I might as well respect her decision and leave her alone" I looked ahead

"Just go to her class during break time, she barely leaves her class ...at least try to talk to her one last time?"

I looked at her, she looked sad. I could tell this was eating her up as much as it was eating me

She looked concerned

I hummed

Resa was right, I had to try once more before I gave up on Catherine completely

"I'll do that" I nodded

I was an open book to my sister, she'd notice when something was wrong very quickly no matter how I hid it and it was the same on my end to her too

We were twins after all

We got out of the car and headed to our class with a few hi's and hello's from people

I looked into her class as we were passing by

My eyes locked with hers and she immediately looked away

Was what I said really that bad?

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked down at my sister

"It'll be alright... just talk to her on break time" she assured me

I nodded

We entered our class and Fred grinned immediately he saw my sister, I rolled my eyes

I envied him

He got his girl easily and now in a good relationship after messing around

But my relationship life was very complicated and I never even messed around with one girl

"Hey babe" She pecked his cheek before sitting on her chair

"Hey" he smiled at her and looked at me "hey bro"

"Hey" I said already sat on my seat

Suddenly they was silence, I looked up to find Fred mouthing an "is he okay" to Resa and she shook her head

"So is everything ready for the party this Saturday" he asked

"Yeah everything's set, dad is really organised when it comes to parties" Resa said
