CHAPTER 30

Terrence POV

If I had known mom took her time in shopping like this, I'd have suggested Teresa goes with her

We went from one shop to another buying clothes, shoes, baby clothes and other stuff for Resa and Dad, we left in the morning and it was 15:33 right now and I was completely exhausted

"Here go try these"

Mom handed me some sweatpants and jeans

I sighed and mumbled an "okay"

I went in a room where people try out stuff, I never knew shops had these

I put on the sweatpants and not bad, my mom sure deserved her company. I was about to take it off when I heard my mother shout

"Come out after you try each one of them... I want to see" she said

I sighed again but did as I was told either ways

She nodded in approval as she scanned me, Mom did the same again and again every time what I wore satisfied her and scrunched her face if it didn't

"Mom can we go I'm tired" I sighed for the millionth time today

"Alright fine we've been here long enough anyways" she said

We paid for the clothes we chose and left the shop for home

"I'm never going shopping with you again" I mumbled driving us out of the mall

"Pshh come on Terr it wasn't that bad" she chuckled lightly

"Right" I answered sarcastically

And our drive home was consisted of her talking about how excited she was now that I accepted 'change'

I literally threw myself on my bed and closed my eyes when we reached home, I felt my body relax immediately it recognized my bed

A breath escaped from my lips

"Welcome home"

I opened my eyes

"I expected a thank you but that's okay" she said when I didn't say anything

I heard my door closed and some shuffling

Resa sat down leaning her back on the bed. I positioned myself so my head was facing her back

"Wassup" I said

"Nothing, I just missed my big brother"

I opened my eyes and looked at her "what do you want?"

She turned her neck a little and gave me a sweet smile "can I use your laptop?"

"Why?" I gave her a small frown

"Well I want some anime but I don't have enough space to get... so can I watch from yours?" She said with a cute face

"Sure" I sighed and closed my eyes

"Yeeey!!" She squealed getting up to take my laptop from my table and sat on the position she sat earlier

"So how was shopping with mom"

"Tiresome ...and exhausting... something you don't want to experience trust me" I muttered quietly

She giggled "you're exaggerating I've shopped with mom like a lot of times and it's always fun"

"Pssht"

"You're just not a shopping person"

"I should've listened to Dad" I said taking my phone from the bedside table knowing I won't sleep unless she leaves this room
