Terrence POV

I opened my eyes

Light illuminated in my room indicating the sun had rose

I put my arm above my head, it was one of those Saturdays where I took long to get out of bed

It had been two days after I found out I were expecting another sibling and also the day Aimee embarrassed me in front of Philip

I guess I'm not that lucky

I stayed home the next day because I didn't want to face her or Fred and tell him what had happened

He gets really persuasive in getting information sometimes

Another reason why I stayed home was to look after my mom

I couldn't leave her alone unless she was fine, I already studied the topics being taught so it'd just be a revision for me if the teacher taught it in class

My mom wasn't pleased with me skipping school but I told her I had to make sure she was okay because she hadn't moved back to her room yet which scared me

This accusation about mom grew more than I expected

She was giving Dad the silent treatment

They never fought in front of us, this was the first and it was ugly

I knew it affected my sister too but she didn't show it that much, we are the kind to cry in closed doors

Sometimes I'd find her with mom talking in the guestroom and I'd join them, we both would made mom laugh and feel better

I decided to wake up an hour later, I got up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and pee

Leaving my room, I walked through the hallway down the stairs and made my way to the kitchen where I found a few maids in their uniform making our breakfast

"Muli bwanji" (how are you) they greeted me

"Ndili bwino kaya inu" (I'm good and you)

"Tili bwino" they answered back (we're good)

I went outside through the kitchen door and just stood on the veranda letting the morning breeze hit me

I was only in my pajama pants shirtless. I didn't have to worry about the maids, they were all 40 going up making me too young for them to drool over and vice versa

I stood there for a while feeling the breeze and looking at the view in front of me, there were trees at the far end of our backyard with grass trimmed well, a few two-seater steel chairs randomly placed here and there on the grass

I remember Teresa always bothering me to be the cameraman as she danced

I smile at that thought

I stood there for a long time thinking and somehow my thoughts drifted to Aimee, even though what happened made me want to step back a little it didn't stop me from fantasizing about her

Her eyes, her lips, i could see her at this very moment, her hips swaying towards me and stopping right in front of me

I put my arm around her waist and pull her close to me, her body fit so perfectly in my arms

Her small hands land on my chest immediately I pull her close to me

She looks up to me, her eyes are to die for "Terrence" she whispers

She looks down to her feet but I lift her head with my thumb to look at me
