Third POV

Terrence's heart beat fast when he approached Aimee's desk

Nobody could blame him for his nervousness though, it was going to be his first time approaching a girl he liked

Even though he was a bit anxious of the future minutes from now, he was a little happy that he was getting a chance to speak to her again

"Hey" he said when he reached Aimee's desk, he sat on a vacant chair and put his book and pen on the desk

"Hi" Aimee eyed him up and down

She looked at the guy in front of her and was impressed by his looks. It was such a turnoff though, he seemed to belong to the middle-class

"Ummm where's-"

"Jodie just went out... we can start without her"

"Alright"

They discussed and solved the math problems that was given

Aimee was impressed by his ways of solving the numbers and made a mental note to ask him for tutoring when the exams were close

He just proved himself that he was a great asset to her

"So ummm... where do you stay?" Terrence asked creating small talk so he could know more about her

"Mandala" she answered

"Cool" he nodded

Terrence expected her to ask where he stayed but the question never came, there was an uncomfortable silence when Terrence thought of what to ask her next

Aimee was looking at the door waiting for the Mr Chad or Jodie to show up

If only the guy next to her wasn't middle-class or perhaps popular then she'd have made a move to get to know him and be friends or even more but he was neither

Apart from the fact that he was good at math, there was nothing interesting about him

"Ummm would you like to... like you know ...hangout?" He suddenly blurted out

Aimee looked at him up and down for a second

"Yea sure" she said, she clearly wasn't going to hang out with him

Aimee knew these type of boys, they wouldn't get out of your hair until you spit yes in their face

I wouldn't hesitate to say yes if it was Philip though

She scanned the class until her eyes stopped on who she was looking for, she smiled as he found him looking at her

Phillip winked at her and she gave him a flirtatious smile

All this went unnoticed as Terrence was busy thinking of where to take her

Making a conversation with her felt forced but nonetheless Terrence succeeded in asking her out

"Saturday?" He asked

"Ummm nooo sorry I'm busy this Saturday maybe some other day" Aimee said as she looked to her notebook

"Alright" he was a little disappointed but at least she agreed to hang out with him sometime

That was at least something

"So you'll tell me when yea?"

"Yea I will"

The teacher showed up and took their exercise books where they did their work when the bell rang

Terrence went to his place to gather his belongings so he could go home

Terrence POV

"So how'd go with.. " Fred trailed off wiggling his eyebrows
