Terrence POV

Exams were round the corner and everyone was busy with books, the people who weren't bookworms were spotted in the library

Something I'd call a miracle

One thing that every student had to make sure when they were in Junior High was to have good grades, getting weeded out seemed too embarrassing and somewhat affected egos

I was currently in the library studying Geography

The library was packed and only a few free chairs were left, to actually count I only saw three, the one opposite me another at the far corner of the library from my left and one at a table to my left

Thirty minutes had passed since I got here

The library was silent excluding the flipping of pages, well until I heard footsteps of course

They stopped for a second before they started again, they stopped at the chair opposite me and the chair was moved silently

I didn't bother looking up as I was engrossed with the book in front of me, I needed to finish chapter five as soon as possible

I heard some shuffling and soon the person started studying too, I could tell by the flipping of pages

An hour passed and I was tired from the information that I gathered inside my brain, I needed a break from the book before I started studying again

I raised my head looking around, all chairs were occupied now, I couldn't leave and walk around outside to get some fresh air, somebody would obviously take my place and I'd have nowhere to study

I didn't want that

As my eyes were roaming around looking at people they landed on the person in front of me and my breath hitched in my throat

She's the girl I bumped into that day

I couldn't help but look at her again

What's with her presence

I couldn't admit but there was something about her that made me want to know her, draw near to her

Her hair was in a high ponytail today, everything on her face was surely in its right place

Cute eyes, cute nose, cute lips, cute chubby cheeks

I'm not sure how long I stared until she caught me, I looked away immediately glancing at her for a second before looking away again

I took my book and put it in the air in front of me so it was covering my face, my eyes narrowed as I made myself quite interested on the world's map in front of me

All of the sudden I heard a giggle beside me, I lowered my book a little to look at her engrossed in her book. She raised her head and her eyes widened a little

She quickly took a piece of paper and I tilted my head in confusion as I watched her scribble something before passing it to me

I took it hesitantly with one hand

I gave her a questioning look but she was back to her book again. The girl beside me giggled again looking at me with an amused face shaking her head

My eyes rolled to the note

Your book is upside down

I looked at my book the moment I read the note and wished the Earth would swallow me whole right then and there

I think that's it for today

I shut the book and packed my books quickly, I had to leave before I even got myself more embarrassed in front of this cute girl
