024 - I Hope That You're Happy

Naeun's POV

------5 years later------

It has been 5 years that I haven't seen Jonghyun. I can't lie about my feelings. I do miss him.

My day-dreaming stopped when they called me.

"Eomma! When's Uncle Alex,Aunty Joy & Hunter coming?",they asked.

Yes,they. My 2 adorable sons. I found out that I was pregnant again when I arrived America.

I had to change their surname to my surname so no one could find us.

Son Jongin and Son Joonhyun.

It was hard changing Jongin's surname, it took months to change his surname back to Son.

"They'll be here soon,sweetheart",I said with a smile.

----FLASHBACK----

"Here's the ticket to Mexico! Take it!",Jessica said.

"How about this money?",I looked at the briefcase right next to me.

"Keep it! Now, leave!",she said.

I pick Jongin up and hug him.

"Eomma! I miss you. Don't leave me again,okay?",he said. Looking at me with teary eyes.

"I won't baby",I whispered in his ear. I took the ticket from Jessica's hands walked out,without even looking back.

"Naeun! Naeun! Naeun!",he screamed for my name.

I couldn't help but turn around. Because Jongin kept on calling "Appa! Appa!",he kept yelling.

Jessica's men was holding him tight so he won't run.

"We promised to each other that we would live together",he said. I could see tears flowing on his cheeks.

"Oppa.. I'm sorry but your life awaits with Jessica. We weren't meant to be together in the first place",I said. Deep down inside it hurts.

Jongin suddenly move. He was crying. He jumped out of my arm and ran to Jonghyun.

He hugged Jonghyun's leg. "Appa! Don't leave us!",he cried.

The men had to let go of Jonghyun's arm. Jonghyun quickly hugged Jongin.

"D-don't cry okay?",he wiped Jongin's tear with his thumb.

"A-a-appa...",he cried even harder. He hugged Jonghyun's neck.

I wanted to give him one last hug. But,I couldn't.

Jessica's stare was scarier than a werewolf's gaze.

I took a step back and called Jongin..

"Jongin-ah.. C-come we have to go!",I said.

I saw Jonghyun whispering to Jongin something. I couldn't hear it because our distance were quite far.

Jongin walked slowly towards me. I carried him to the car and drove back to the condo.

I grabbed all our clothes and head to the airport. Before that I bathed Jongin and put some ointment on his wounds.

After that I dressed him. I put a mask on his mouth so people won't look at him weirdly. Like thinking me as an abusive parent.

I left the car key on the table and a note.

I called a cab and it arrived. I told the cab driver to take us to the airport.

I looked at our tickets. I tore it up. Because before we left, I made a flight booking for America.

Since,Jessica said loudly that I would e going to Mexico. I quickly thought of something. Jonghyun oppa,could find me there.
