Chapter 15 - Rogues

The bedroom door suddenly burst open and Kylan strode in. "Rogues!" He shouted before leaving the room minding to keep his eyes only on Ryder, there was no way he hadn't noticed their mixed arousals. Ryder growled and removed Alina from his lap.

"Stay here heart, lock the door and don't answer it for anyone other than me." He told her making his way to the door.

"Ryd-

"I mean it Ina stay in here!" He shouted before letting his wolf take over. Magnar was in control now as he ran outside with his pack.

Beta! He called through the mind-link, Kylan's sandy wolf, Hunter, ran over to him.

They killed Samuel, Kylan stated.

Alpha, Ryder recognised Quillon's voice as his large golden wolf joined them.

Appreciate the help, Ryder nodded toward Quillon. I want two warriors outside my room to protect the Luna.

Done, Kylan stated through the mind-link

Let's go kill some rogues, Ryder couldn't help the excitement he felt, Magnar lived for the hunt, for the kill and he was good at it. The stench of the rogues who were now outlining the woodland filled his senses causing Magnar to let out a gut retching growl. He began to move forward slowly at first the rogues following suit, his warriors behind him, there was a howl from one of the rogues and that was it, the pack were at full pace as they attacked the rogues.

Alina watched through the window her heart pounding in her chest, she heard a noise beneath the window and saw Marion she shifted her clothes torn to shreds but she was running in the opposite direction, Alina followed the smaller black wolfs gaze her eyes falling on the four rogues who had broken away from their pack. Then there he was.

"Oh my gosh Toby!" She called out of the window but she was too far away, Marion was trying to get to him but two of the four broke rank and began to attack. Marion's wolf let out a sharp howl as one of the rogues tore at her side.

Without thought Alina moved from the window and ran over to the door, two wolves suddenly appeared in front of her. "Move and stay!" She commanded, they both moved and were whimpering with concern but Alina didn't care. She took the stairs as fast as she could and thrust open the front door to the pack making a beeline for Marion.

"Al!" She heard someone call out but she ignored them as she continued to run toward Marion's wolf who was now on the ground.

"Get away from her!" Alina shrieked at the two wolves who were tearing through Marion's flesh, they looked surprised but done as she told them. She reached Marion who had shifted back to human, there were teeth marks and blood all over her naked form. "Marion!" She shifted her gaze to the two wolves anger pulsating through her body. "You!" She pointed at the larger wolf, "do not move." She hissed at him before turning to the smaller wolf. "You, kill him." The wolf let out a strangled cry as it did exactly as she asked, the larger wolf couldn't move just allowed his partner to continue to mawl him to death.

"Al!" Josh was by her side now.

"Josh take care of Marion." Alina didn't even look at him as her gaze fell on Tobias who was stood still not moving just staring at the two rogues who were stalking toward him. "Toby!" She yelled, the boy turned to look at her, she could see the sheen of tears on his violet eyes. "Shift Toby and run to me!" She demanded, the little boy shifted in to his small white wolf and began bounding toward her. "Faster honey, run faster!" She shouted noting one of the wolves were gaining on him.

She was so close to him, the anger pulsing through her veins making her run faster than she had ever thought possible, finally she made it to him, the rogue behind bared it's teeth ready to shred the boy to pieces. "Shift!" She hollered at the wolf who stopped and began shifting into a disgusting excuse for a man as she engulfed Tobias' wolf stoking him to try and calm his shaking form. "Keep hitting your head on that wall, hard and don't stop." She seethed at the dirty looking man who began to do as she had asked.

She had forgotten about the other wolf as she tried to sooth Tobias, the wolf was upon them and before she could speak she felt it's sharp fangs pierce her hip. "Fuck!" She yelled but another growl suddenly joined she looked up to see a caramel wolf pounce on the wolf who had moved to strike again but the caramel wolf was fast and bit down on the back of the rogues neck. Tobias was more agitated, it must be Isabella. "Toby, look at me!" She commanded and the pup let his violet eyes capture her own. "Get to the pack house and stay there until we come and get you." He seemed torn looking at his mother but he had already started running back.

Alina turned to face the fight between Isabella and the rogue, she was good and she was deadly but the wolf was bigger and managed to bite through one of her legs. Alina flung herself at Isabella, standing in front of her she stared the beast before her down. "Stop!" She yelled at the beast, her breaths laboured, the bite on her hip was oozing blood but she didn't care how dare these creatures attack her pack. The beast had done as it was asked but it was snarling showing a sharp set of fangs, it was pissed but so was she. "Do not move." She limped toward the beast it's bloodied fur heaving with each breath it took. "Show me your neck." The wolf howled but did as she asked. Alina turned to Isabella and nodded, quicker than lightening Isabella lunged ripping the throat of the rogue.

Howls filled the air and Alina turned to see the pack had been successful as the remaining rogues fled. Isabella was suddenly by her side; she was feeling a little dizzy from the blood loss and was grateful for the support Isabella offered her as she leaned on her.

"Your wolf's beautiful." She smiled as they began to walk toward the pack house. Her heart swelled when she saw Magnar's large wolf running toward her, he was magnificent she smiled to herself.

Ina! She heard Magnar's voice through her head, before the wolf transformed into Ryder. He reached her side and lifted her bridal style and practically ran to the pack house.

"Isabella, Toby is in the pack house." She called out weakly. She felt the air rush past her as Ryder continued to run, they were outside their room when she heard Ryder growl, the two warriors were stood like statues outside their door.

"I will deal with you later." He seethed at the two. "Leave." They showed their necks in submission and walked away. Ryder carried her into the bedroom and laid her on the bed. He pulled down the boxers that she had been wearing as shorts and hissed when he saw the bite mark on her thigh. "Fuck, Ina." He whispered before his body morphed into the giant that was Magnar.

"You are so beautiful Magnar." She smiled at him whilst one of her hands reached out to tough his midnight fur.

I need to heal you Ina, she heard Magnar's voice radiate through her mind causing her to sigh out loud.

"It's fine Magnar, just a scratch." She tried to alleviate some of the angst she could see in his beautiful green eyes.

I'm going to lick your wounds Ina, please don't be afraid, she laughed at that.

"I'm not afraid of you Magnar, silly wolf." Her eyes had begun to close, she was feeling tired and her body had begun to ache.

Stay awake Ina, just until I heal you, Magnar commanded and she opened her eyes. Good girl, she huffed at that but within seconds she was hissing out in pain as his tongue lapped at her wounds. Her hands reached for his fur and pulled tightly as she attempted to keep herself from screaming. The pain began to subside as Magnar continued to lick her wounds and soon she found herself giggling.

"Magnar, stop that tickles." She bit down on her lip as he licked her a few more times. "Magnar!" She managed to roll away from him and calm her laughing, she turned to face the wolf but instead was faced with a very angry looking Ryder.
