Jalynn P.O.V.

I held Dior's hand as we walked up to the list posted on the wall. We've been waiting all week for this.

I scanned through the names til I landed on mine.

"I made it." I said smiling.

I looked over at Dior who still read through. "Aw me too." she said smiling.

We had tried out for the cheerleading squad and made it. This was exciting.

"I'll be right back." Dior said as she walked over to AJ. I know they like each other they both just in denial.

I watched as she smiled and hugged him, I guess telling him the news.

I looked down the hallway seeing Cam and Dashawn.

"Guess what?" I said to Cam who looked irritated.

"What?" he said sighing.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothin. What you had to tell me?"

"We made the squad." I said less excited than before. I wonder what was wrong with him.

"I knew you would. I'll see you later." he said walking off.

"Um okay." I said kinda hurt. I thought he would be happier for me but whatever.

I turned to Dash and faked a smile.

He pulled me into a hug. "I'm proud of you lil girl. He is too he just got something to take care of."

"Thanks. What happened with him?"

"That ain't my business to tell."

"Dash.."

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around coming face to face with the girl from IHOP. Everyone goes to this school.

"I need to talk to Dash so.." she said flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"First thing..  don't touch me and second-" Dash put his hand over my mouth and pulled me toward him.

"Amber I ain't got nothing to say to you."

"Dash please"

"Begging don't look good on you."

I looked up at Dash as he looked at this girl wit so much hate in his eyes.

"It's important."

"Look I'ma go." I said walking away.

Dashawn P.O.V.

"Who is she, Dash?" Amber said.

"Don't be questioning me."

"I'm still in love with you. I can't be the only one."

"I don't love you, Amber. I cared about you. And YOU fucked that up, not me. You can't think you gon come back into my life and everything is forgiven. It don't work like that."

She wiped away the tear that fell. "I was fourteen. What was I supposed to do?"

"We could've gotten through that together. That was my seed too and you made them decisions by yourself."

"You act like I killed her!"

I flinched a little at the words. It was a little girl. "Why'd you leave? When you had her you was gon come back?"

She looked down at the ground. "I don't know."

"You left me out. You left me. I ain't mad no more but I don't want nothing to do with you."
