The next day..
jalynn p.o.v.
"It's not Chick Fil A but I did get you breakfast." Rah said handing me a Starbucks bag.
"Thank you but you do know we have food at home." I said chuckling.
"Yea but I also know you don't eat at home and by third period you're complaining about how hungry you are."
"Stop acting like you know me." I said laughing as we walked toward my locker.
"How you sleep stink?"
"You gon keep calling me that?" I said laughing.
"Yeah. I am. But I asked you a question."
"You know how I slept. We were on the phone." I said smiling at him.
"I still like to hear it from you."
"I slept good. I was actually really tired and this morning I didn't want to get up out of bed but then I thought.. I have to hurry up and see my boyfriend." I said laughing at the end.
"Real cute." he said mugging me.
"I know I am."
"Girl."
"What was that last night? Were you trying to get my brother to hate you?"
"Nah."
"I mean you saying all that to piss him off. You could have let him at least think he was scaring you for a while."
"Nah. Cause I wasn't scared. And if I would've bitched out he wouldn't respect me."
"I- wow." I said shaking my head at how much sense he made.
"Look Jalynn I was serious about wanting to be with you. I'll meet whoever and say whatever. I ain't scared to show how much I want you."
"Aaw you're so sweet." I said laughing.
He pulled me closer and pressed his lips against mine. I could really get used to this. When we pulled away a lot of people stared but it didn't even matter right now.
"See you in second?" I asked closing my locker.
"You know I'm walking you to class." he said mugging me and grabbing my hand.
Later that night...
"Jalynn you in here?" I heard Jayda ask from the garage door.
"Yeah how you know?"
She opened the door and peeped in. "I saw the light on from outside. What you doing in here?"
"Homework. I don't know why." I said laughing.
"Oh okay, what you doing tomorrow?"
"Um besides practice and coming home nothing."
"Hair and nails?"
"Sure. I should be home around 5:30 or 6."
"Okay. So what's all this shit Cam is talking about a boyfriend?"
"You have got to be kidding me." I said rolling my eyes.
"Cam runs his mouth."
"Do I know him?"
"It's Rah." I said laughing.
"Stop playing. Y'all official?" she said smiling.
"Yeah we are."
"Girl I knew it. Y'all cute."
"Chill."
