18. Get Out

Raheem POV

"You cannot put a draw two on top of a draw four." I said mugging Jalynn.

"Yes the fuck I can now draw 6."

"No you cannot."

"I wanted to play this so it's my rules. Now hurry up and draw 6." she said shrugging.

"Gir- you know what? Draw 10." I said slapping down another draw four. Her mouth dropped as she looked from her cards to me.

"I don't even wanna play no more."

"I bet you don't." I said laughing at how hurt she was.

She threw her cards at me making me laugh harder.

"You a trip Jalynn."

"Whatever." she said turning away.

I stood up. "Welp I guess I'll just leave then since you wanna have an attitude."

She turned over looking at me. "Rah that ain't funny stop."

I chuckled sitting down. She rolled her eyes looking past me at the window.

"I just wanna go home."

"One more day then we out of here."

She'd been in here for a month now. They said they had to monitor her lungs and her chest wound but she got cleared for her wound this morning and they ran tests on her lungs that should be ready tomorrow afternoon.

"You ready to go to sleep?" I asked her.

She shook her head no but after about ten minutes of us talking she dozed off.

Amani POV

"What does it say?" I asked Cam really nervous.

"Two lines that means... pregnant." he said leaning against the counter.

I looked up at him not knowing what to say. But he was already looking at me.

"You having my baby." he said as a smile spread across his face making me smile.

I didn't even have any words as we shared that moment. I'm not really surprised. We have sex almost everyday and never think about protection. I don't know when it happened we just stopped using it.

I looked up at Cam who was staring at me.

"What?"

"Nothing." he said picking me up by my waist. I wrapped my legs around him as he pressed his lips against mine. "I love you."

"I love you too." I said laying my head on his shoulder.

He carried me to the bed before laying us down with me on top of him.

Jalynn POV

I got out of the car seeing everyone in my parent's house with a Welcome Home Jalynn! sign hanging on the wall. I smiled as Rah pushed my wheelchair toward them. I could walk but not long distances so we got a wheel chair for now. Everyone hugged me and welcomed me home as we talked and ate.

Eventually, I went to the bathroom. When I was in there I heard gun shots.

I came out seeing everyone I loved laid on the ground with bullet hole in their head.

"No." I said sobbing as I moved between my mother and father, then to Cam. And baby Antwan. Everyone.

As I cried, I heard a click behind my head making me scream and turn coming face to face with Keith.
