Gionni POV

Lauren sat across from me at my desk as we went over files.

"You okay?" she asked.

I looked up at her nodding. "Yeah. Did you send over the budgeting plan for the Powells?"

"Yes. They approved and Mr. Powell said he has an emergency fund, as well if needed."

"Okay. Can you schedule a meeting with them for the final design approval? I think we can set up the contract for that build to start."

She wrote it down nodding. "Also your dentist called to remind you of an appointment on Monday that you never told me about. I pushed back your meeting with Ms. Lewis to Wednesday. She wasn't happy about it but she agreed. I think you should send her an email apologizing for the inconvenience."

I nodded. "Okay."

"Now let's get these signed." she said handing me a stack of papers. "I marked all the places that need your signature."

"These the townhome contracts?" I asked scanning over them.

"Yes." she said and I started signing.

I heard a knock on the door and I looked up at Lauren to go get it.

I watched as Londyn walked in.

"You can call me when you finish that." Lauren said leaving out.

"Hey." Londyn said walking over sitting at the desk across from me.

"Wassup you okay?"

"Yeah. I just came to tell you something."

"Tell me what?"

"That you were right. And I'm sorry."

I set my pen down and leaned back in my chair. "Right about what?"

I watched her go into her purse pulling something out and showing me.

It was a pregnancy test.

I couldn't even speak at the moment staring at the two lines.

I looked up at her and her eyes were glossed over.

"Mama for real?"

She nodded and I stood up walking over to her pulling her into a hug.

Londyn POV

It was really hard to understand my feelings right now.

Yes, I was happy. But I was scared as hell, too.

My pregnancy with Aniya was a pregnancy from hell. It didn't help that I was alone. Scared was an understatement.

"Do you know how far along?" he asked and I laughed.

"Baby I just found out. I have to schedule an appointment."

He kissed all over my face making me smile.
