Jalynn POV I'm a few months in and I'm sick of college. All I see are deadlines. I've really been killing myself to meet all these deadlines. On top of that midterms start next week.
I walked into my room kicking off my slides and sat at my desk. Today was Friday and I'm exhausted. I put my head down trying to rest my eyes for a few minutes before studying.
Those minutes turned into a hour until Rizzie walked through the door.
I lifted my head up realizing I'd fallen asleep.
"Whoa." she said sitting her bag down.
"I'm tired."
"I see. But you need to get up." she said.
"For what?"
"Morehouse party tonight."
"Why we going all the way over there?"
"Remember that boy I told you about?"
I nodded.
"He goes there. And he wants me to come. So I want you to come. He said he has a friend for you." she said smiling.
"Umm I have enough friends."
"Come on Jalynn please don't make me go alone." she said basically begging.
I sighed looking at my laptop then at her. "Fine."
I texted Antonio to beg him to come. If I had to do this, so did he.

later at the party.. I was never the type to do too much at parties. I find a nice spot on the wall with my people and vibe. If the song is lit I might twerk but I'm not for the shows on the dance floor.
So that's what I was doing. I stood with Antonio, Rizzie and another girl Lauren, or Lolo.
The music was loud as hell. The smell of weed and alcohol filled the whole house. But it was lit. Right now Quando Rondo blasted through the speakers.
Antonio, like most other people in here was high as hell. I don't know when he smoked but I know he was high off his ass because when he gets high he gets horny.
"You not ready to go?" he whispered in my ear while resting his hand on my ass.
"Boy." I said laughing at him. "I gotta wait for Rizzie." I said in his ear.
He sucked his teeth making me laugh harder.
"Aye y'all listen up!" some boy said on the mic by the DJ. "Y'all know what the fuck goin on give it up for our football champs. We playoffs ready!"
