Chapter 76: Hear Him Out

Taylor Swift's song was playing in the background. It was the song of my current mood. It had been an entire day since talking to Harry. The nerve he had! I tried my best to keep him off my mind, but nothing seemed to work. If it wasn't the t.v. bringing him up, it was his voice was on the radio. It was driving me crazy.

My mom had made plans with Anne to go out for a girl's night, which she tried to bring me along. However, I lied and said I had plans already. Normally, I wouldn't ever lie to my mother, but I just didn't want to see Anne. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Anne. I love her, she's an amazing person. Her son was Harry though, I didn't want to be in an awkward position.

My phone went off like crazy out of nowhere all of a sudden. I went to grab it.

Niall: Alannah!! We miss you!! We're all in town, Zayn and I are free. Let's hang out

It's been a while since I've seen them both and got to hang out with them, so I agreed to go. I grabbed my purse and the keys to my mom's car. We meet up at Ruby's Diner. It was one of the best places to eat in Cali. Nothing better than an old fashioned 50's theme diner. I walked in and spotted them sitting at the empty side of the restaurant.

"Lanna, it's so good to see you after so long," Niall said.

"I know, I missed you both so much."

"Don't avoid us anymore. I get that you're now a Hollywood movie star but we still exist," Zayn teased.

"Whatever, but it's not all my fault. You guys are practically rockstars now!"

We exchanged hugs. They both hugged me so tight that I couldn't breathe.

"So how've you been?" Zayn asked.

"I've been doing good, just working on my career. I love what I'm doing, it's so much fun."

"Haha, we all love what we do too. Touring is the best," Niall says.

"Tell us, who's the new guy? What's his name? Nick?" asked Zayn.

"Hahaha, I don't know what you're talking about. We're just friends. We've only hung out twice, the first time was at the primier."

"Sure, doesn't look like it in these pics," Zayn said. 

He held up a picture of us holding hands and us hugging goodbye. I blushed and laughed.

"Hey, you know how those paparazis can get."

"It sure got Styles jealous," Niall mentioned.

"You should've seen his face when you were dancing with him at the after party."

Honestly, I didn't care if Harry got jealous or not. He's got Kendall Jenner as a girlfriend. Even if she isn't, I didn't care about Harry Styles.

"Alannah, he still cares about you a lot," said Niall.

"I don't care, he's not important in my life anymore."

"Just hear him out next time Laney, it'd be good if you guys just talk," Zayn defended.
