Flashfoward

Here I am, about to step out from my limo onto the red carpet. I'm 20 years old now, about to go to my first red carpet as the leading lady to my new movie. Back To Then, a movie about reconnecting with old flames from your past. I knew too much of that feeling my character went through. Although, I still haven't seen him in years.

"Ok, remember. You're a stronger women since you broke up with Lance. You're a new girl," my publicist says.

"Why did I ever agree to pretend to date Lance Williams. He's the worst. Such a tool."

"He needed good publicity. And since both of you both have movies coming out back to back, we thought it would be great publicity."

"Ok, well that's the last time I let you talk me into doing that."

"Ok," she says laughing.

Lynn was a good friend, but I hate that she made me do things I didn't want to do. For instance, dating Lance Williams. He was Hollywood's "it" boy. Well one of. The other hottie right now that everyone is drooling over is someone I have done my best to avoid. Lance was an "all about me" type of guy. All he cared about was his stupid image. Kind of like Collin, the asshole I dated in high school.

I step out and the cameras start flashing. I hear the clicks of the camera. I smile and wave to my fans. I head to where all the photo ops for the cast is, where we will take a quick group photo. On the way, I sign autographs and take pictures with my fans.

"Lanna, we love you!" I hear them scream.

We take pictures for the paparazzi and answer quick premier interview questions. As I head towards the theater, I hear a sudden uproar of screams. It has to be someone big, someone really huge in pop culture right now. I look back but the paparazzi crowds my view.

Everyone heads to the after party of the premier. Once again, I hear the uproar of screams right before I exit the Chinese Theater. I walk towards the crowd of paparazzi. They flash photos of the person in front of me. Those damn lights can be so blinding. So blinding that I don't notice that my dress gets caught under my heel. I fall forward but someone catches me mid-air.

My heart beats fast. But when I look up to see the person who saved me from embarrassment eyes, my heart stops, goes up my throat and drops like the Tower of Terror to the pit of my stomach. An all too familiar pair of eyes beam into mine. An all too familiar set of eyes burn into me.

"Hi, Laney," he says.

I haven't seen him since that night back in 2011. Harry Styles is holding me the way he did back then. Harry- freaking- Styles.
