Chapter 36: recovering

Sunstreaker's POV
I grinned when I grabbed Sia and pinned her to the wall, my face inches away from hers. "I win! You can't beat me fleshy!" I teased. She smirked "show off! That's what you are!" She snorted. I nuzzled in her neck making her giggle.

She softly stroke my hair "but I'm your show off!" I purred. She smiled at me she leaned in to kiss me but was cut off when I felt something unfamiliar over our bond. I hissed in pain, grabbing for my stomach. Sia shrieked and grabbed me "Sunny!? What's wrong?" She asked.

The pain waved away, confused I hold my stomach, trying to figure out what was wrong. "I don't know!" I whispered. She grabbed me, trying to calm me down when I ended up on the ground. "Just calm down..." she whispered. I rested my head against her shoulder before I stood up, still holding my stomach.

I tried to reach for Sideswipe but something was off, his side of the bond was getting weaker. "What is it?" She asked. "I can't feel him! His side of the bond is getting weaker!" I said panicking. She looked confused "it means he's dying or to far away from me for a very long time!" I said.

"Hers dying?" She gasped. "I guess so! Go to Ratchet!" I said before I sprinted away. "Have you seen Sides?" I asked Lennox urgently, almost smashing him against the wall. "Sunstreaker!" He muttered. "Have you seen him or not?" I snapped. He shook his head "Damn it!" I cursed.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "He's dying! I need to find him!" I yelled over my shoulder. I rushed into our room "Sideswipe! Where are you!" I called out. No response. I started to panic the bond was getting weaker. I could feel him call for help, his desperate attempt to reach for me was breaking me.

I rushed into the cafeteria, into the kitchen. I gasped and knelt down, forcing myself to push my emotions away. He was breathing fast, too fast. "Sideswipe?" I whispered, looking at the gap in his stomach. I grabbed something to stop the bleeding.

Sideswipe weakly opened his eyes, his Energon covered hands grasped my wrist. "A...a-ally..." he whispered. I felt rage but forced myself to push it away. "Don't worry! Everything will be okay! Just calm down okay?" I whispered.

Sideswipe's P.O.V
I woke up and never felt so weak before. I noticed something warm next to me and saw the contours of my twin. He was holding me tightly and for a once in my life I heard him cry.

I grabbed his arms loosely, he looked up with watery eyes. I wiped them away "Don't cry..." muttered softly. He pecked my head "I love you!" He whispered. I smiled weakly "I love you too, Sunstreaker," I whispered, grasping him tighter in response.

We hold on to each other, scared that if we let go we would loose each other. I never had seen him this upset, only once or twice when we were sparklings. Sunny buried his face in the crook of my neck. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry I left you!" He whispered upset. "Sunny! Please look at me!" I said.

My brother looked in my eyes, his eyes filled with tears again. "It's not your fault! The blame is my own!" I said. He kissed my head again "I almost lost you!" He whispered. "Well... at least we wouldn't be separated for a very long time" he joked weakly. "It's not funny!" I snapped holding me tight to his chest.

"You were out for almost two weeks!" He said. I gasped "two weeks?" I whispered mostly to myself. "Yes! I needed to wait two weeks until I could give someone a painful death!" He hissed, eyes blood red.

I laid my hand on his cheek "please calm down," I said. He sighed before he eyes turned back to icy blue. Sunny nuzzled in my neck "I'm sorry, Sideswipe! I'm sorry I was mean! I didn't mean what I said! It's just... Sia means a lot for me and I don't wanna loose her!" He said.

"I get it sunny! It's my own fault..." he sighed. "We don't need to talk about that now!" Sunstreaker told me when he snuggled into me. We rested our heads against each other "Where is Sia?" I whispered. "Lennox asked for her! She was here just an hour ago," he mumbled.

"Just go to sleep... I'll watch over you and make sure no one hurt my precious brother!" He told me. I smiled and closed my eyes "I love you more than anything sunny!" I whispered. Sunstreaker hold me tighter in response until I was out.

I woke up when Sunstreaker softly carried my cheek and whispered soft things in my ear. "Sunny..." I whimpered, slightly grumpy he woke me up from such peaceful slumber.

He hummed and pecked my head "you have a guest," he whispered. I cocked my head to look in two familiar blue eyes. I reached out for her she came closer and hugged me carefully. "I missed you," she whispered in my ear so only I could hear. I smiled and pecked her cheek "I missed you too!" I whispered back.

Sunstreaker carefully pulled me back against his chest in a protective manner when Ratchet entered the room. He smiled weakly when he saw I was awake. "How do you feel?" He asked. "Better..." I replied. He gave a faint nod before he started to inspect my wound. I now realized how deep it had been.

Sunstreaker stayed where he was, not wanting to leave my side anymore. "We need to find that little bitch!" Ratchet growled mostly to himself. I chuckled weakly "I agree! You can't even imagine what I'm gonna do to that slut! I'll rip off her limbs before I'll kill her! It's gonna be slow and painful! She will suffer just like Sia had to suffer! After I ripped off her limbs I'll cut off her tongue and remove her eyes! She's won't be able to beg me to kill her! I swear it will be painful and slowly!" Sunstreaker hissed dangerously.

"And there's my little sociopathic sunflower," I teased while Ratchet stared at him with a huff. "Would you really do that?" Sia asked.

"Yes!" We all three answered in sync. "Well than I'm happy to be your friend and not your enemy," Sia huffed. Sunny laughed softly and grabbed her hand "I can't hurt you, sweetspark!" He purred pulling her closer towards him. She blushed which was cute.

"I'm glad to hear," she said awkwardly, resting her hands on his chest as support while Sunny was still holding her tight. She softly stroke his hair, Sunny closed his eyes in respond and enjoyed her touch. "Sociopathic sunflower huh," she said looking at me with a smirk.

I smiled innocently while Sunny opened one eye to look at us. She giggled and kissed his forehead "hmm he only calls me that when I have horrible ideas of killing people," he said, his lips formed a smirk while his piercing blue eyes were shinning murderously.

"You're scary sometimes," she giggled pressing another kiss on his head. "I'm a killer..." he said like it was normal before closing his eyes. I rolled my eyes and rested my head on his chest. "But you were crying," I said innocently. Sunstreaker looked at me with a glare making Sia chuckle.

"I'll leave you two alone, bye boys," she purred before she left. I sighed and nuzzled in my brothers neck "you're right... we need to find that bitch," I said while looking at Ratchet who had watched the whole ordeal. He nodded "yes... at least I don't have to worry what will happen next," he muttered under his breath. Sunstreaker smirked with closed eyes.

"For the first time I don't care what you!" Ratchet added on quietly. We both looked at him, it was odd for Ratchet to say that kind of things. "Are you joking!?" Sunny asked. "No I'm not! That human is a danger for all of us! Not to mention what horrible things she had done! She deserves to die!" He growled.

Sunstreaker had a murderous grin on his face, not mention the stone cold eyes, showing rage and pure hate "I'll do it with pleasure! But first I have to do something else!...tell me, Sideswipe... who stabbed you?"
