Rouge had arrived at Shadow's messy apartment. She looked around and just sighed.

'How does he live like this?' She thought.

She carefully maneuvered around the empty bottles, trash, and stains to get to Shadow's room. She opened to door and made her way to Shadow's closet.

Rouge picked out some clean shirts, pants, and pjs for Shadow's stay. All she need now was his socks and underwear. She went to his drawer and opened the first one. What she found was his used razor blades with dried blood on them.

She shook off her shock and opened the second drawer. She found some pairs of socks and Shadow's panties. She looked rather confused.

'Why does he have these? It's kinda weird.' She thought.

But she packed them anyway. After she was done packing Shadow's clothes, she found a piece of paper with writing on it. She picked it up and read it.

Tears quickly came to her eyes and flooded down her face as she was reading the note. It was Shadow's suicide note...

After crying for over ten minutes, she calmed down and grabbed the bag she had packed. She then folded the note and stuffed it and into her pocket of her dress.

(With Sonic and Shadow)

Shadow had finally fallen asleep on Sonic's chest.

Sonic smiled at Shadow's peaceful face. He gently stroked Shadow's cheek as he slept. 'He's so beautiful. How could someone look so gorgeous feel so terrible about himself?' Sonic thought.

Sonic kissed Shadow's forehead. 'I promise you Shadow, you'll never feel this way ever again.' He thought as he heard the front door open and close. Soon after, Rouge was standing in the doorway.

She placed Shadow's bag on the ground. "Looks like you two made up." She said.

Sonic nodded and gently replaced his body with a pillow. Shadow remained fast asleep.

Sonic and Rouge left Shadow's room and sat on the couch.

"So where should we start?" Sonic asked.

Rouge pulled out Shadow's suicide note and gave it to Sonic. "We can start with this."
