Alex's PoV

It has been two days since what happened at the cliff. Archer comes to pick me up at school and he drops me after it. At school, he would invite me to sit over with him and Blake at their table. Obviously, I would decline, since Blake and I haven't been the best buddies if you know what I mean.

In the end, I end up sitting with them because Archer said that he would sit on the table I sit at and start singing baby shark just to draw attention to me.

And here I am with Blake and Archer on the same table in the cafeteria. Blake is always grumpy as fuck but Archer being...well being Archer, eases the tension between us.

I've been getting the nasty eye from Kaitlyn and her partner in crime more and more these past two days. Crazy hormonal teenagers of the female species are spreading rumors about me. To be honest, I don't give a fuck. They could say whatever the hell they want to say, I don't care. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't get drastic like this new rumor I heard a few moments ago.

'I bet that she's getting paid by Archer and Blake. Two weeks ago, I saw her and Blake going into the old building. I bet they're secretly meeting and it isn't enough! That whore is coming with Archer to school every day! I bet she rides both of them. That bitch.'

I won't stoop down to their level. People like them are fucking insecure and in dire need of therapy.

Blake and I were bickering over which car is better: a BMW or Mercedes. Of course, the BMW is better than any fucking Mercedes but Blake begs to differ.

"Listen here Blakey boy, a Mercedes is great in terms of interior and For smaller models. Whereas for larger cars, BMW wins over and that's it! PLUS, performance-wise, a BMW is better than any Mercedes"

It feels like Blake suddenly grew horns and a vein in his head is going to pop. He laughs a mocking laugh and starts blabbing about the Mercedes cars.

"Puh-lease, when it comes to reliability and price, a Mercedes is way much better than a BMW. The insurance for both cars is expensive but when it comes to which is cheaper, then it definitely is a Mercedes. BMW parts are expensive as fuck and by the end of the year, your pockets would be as empty as your head. So tell me now which is better, Oh wait, Your head is empty. You wouldn't be able to know."

My blood boils and I feel my knuckles itching to just rearrange Blake's face but I manage to stay calm. Archer snickers from beside me and I kick him from under the table.

"Hey! What the hell?"

I give him one of my famous glares and he makes a stupid motion of zipping his lips. I then turn to Blake to continue defending my point.

"Are you sure it's not your head that's empty, Bigfoot? For fuck's sake! A BMW is way better. Even when it comes to luxury and design. A BMW looks advanced and sporty but a Mercedes looks like an old classical carriage from the caveman era!"

"A carriage wasn't even made in the caveman era! How come your comparing a fucking car to one, that by the way, didn't even exist in that era?! What the actual shit?"

"Exactly! A Mercedes doesn't even look like a car!"

Blake looks enraged by now, so am I. He stands up and slams his palms on the table in front of him.

"HOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE?"

I do the same and continue.

" I DON'T KNOW! IT JUST DOES!"

Archer tries to calm us because the whole cafeteria is watching the show now.

"Guys, you're attracting way too much attention for just one argument. This is, after all, a matter of opinions."

Blake and I both snap our heads towards Archer and without realizing, the same words tumble out of our mouths.

"NO ONE ASKED YOU"

I look back at Blake who's also staring at me.

"HEY! I SAID THA-

We both stop and rethink our words when we also realize that they're the same. Again.

I think of the most unexpected thing to say to Blake that will imply the meaning of what I was saying. Then I settle on using the expression.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD"

Little did I know that he's going to say the same thing.

Archer is silent as hell now and when I look at him, his eyes are downcast and a frown is itched on his face. He looks up to me, the Blake, then me, then Blake... He gets up and leaves the cafeteria...?

The fuck?

Blake and I stare at one another for a few more seconds before he breaks the silence and says.

"What got into him?"

I roll my eyes at his stupid question.

"And I know because...?"

He rolls his eyes in return and gives a sarcastic laugh.

"Very funny. Anyways, let's go after him"

Blake doesn't wait for me as he walks towards the cafeteria door, but I'm sure he knows that I'll follow. Just before opening the cafeteria door, I notice that it's quiet, way too quiet for a cafeteria. And that's when I realize that everyone was watching. Before going I turn back to them and snap.

"Mind your own business people!"

With that said, I leave the cafeteria in search of Archer. I find Blake waiting outside the doors this time and he motions for me to come closer.

As I approach him, I start telling him what to do.

"You check the men's toilet and the second floor and I'll check here and the backyard"

He nods without saying a thing and leaves. I stand there wondering why the fuck did Archer leave like that? So suddenly?

And why did he look troubled...?

Hello! I think most of you know what's wrong with Archer! Right?

But anyway, stay tuned to know why! The next chapter might be in Blake's PoV!

I'm excited!
