Gill's Interview

Joy: That moment when you realize that it's been four months since you've updated *nervous laughter*

Joy: But HEY, WE UPDATED SO HELLO, HI, SQUAD'S NOT DEAD. Well, the Air force might be a little dead, but THIS SQUAD ISN'T!

Joy: And we're kicking things off today with an interview with, drum roll please.....

Qibli: *appears, drum rolls, then disappears*

Joy: GILL!

Gill: *waves* Hey.

Joy: So, Gill, tell us. Did you know that Tsunami, your daughter killed you?

Gill: Wait what?

Joy: Yeah.

Gill: TSUNAMI was my DAUGHTER????

Joy: Yeah.

Gill: Oh three moons, I'm a horrible dragon! I tried to kill her! I didn't know that! No wonder she killed me, oh, and good for her too because I had a lot of fighting training, but still! I didn't know she was my daughter!

Joy: Well now you know.

Joy: Do you ship Ripnami, Anemarin and Clifflet? Answer wisely....

Gill: Um....

Gill: I don't think Clifflet is a good idea, sorry. It's just that Cliff is Ruby's only heir, and him marrying Auklet would be very problematic.... If Cliff had a sister, I'd be more for it. 

Gill: And while I am VERY VERY MAD at Webs, forever and always, I... *looks around to make sure Coral isn't listening* *lowers voice* I wouldn't object to Ripnami- they're a good match.

Coral: *explodes from nowhere* WHAT?!?!?!?!?! GILL, HOW COULD YOU-

Joy: Coral, remember, he who hesitates, disintegrates. *snaps talons*

*Coral explodes into cloud of dust*

Gill: W-what just happened?

Joy: I stole a line from Air's book of Supernatural deaths. Moving on.

Joy: If you were still alive and you met tsunami what would you do or say to her? 

Gill: I'd tell her that I forgive her for killing me and that I was sorry.

Joy: Aww. What do you think about coral being the worst mother and dragon ever? 

Gill: I think that sounds like a rather large exaggeration.

Joy: It....It really isn't- she keeps her daughters on harnesses and neglects her sons...

Gill:.....Things were better when I was around.

Joy:.........*remembers Talons of Power and the whole Snapper incident with Turtle* Suuuureeeee.

Joy: What are your thoughts on the way the Sandwing war ended?

Gill: I think that the Dragonets of Destiny made the best possible choice because I've spoken to Blister, Blaze, and Burn before, and they would all be HORRIBLE queens. Thorn sounds awesome.

Joy: You have no idea how right you are.

Joy: Gill, what do you think of Anemarin?

Gill: I feel like the idea of dating a Rainwing could be problematic because it's not like she can come visit us in the Sea Kingdom, but as long as Anemone is happy, then I'm fine with it. 

Joy: Gill, what do you think of getting killed by your own daughter? And what will be the first thing you do if she didn't kill you and brought you back to the Kingdom of Sea instead?

Gill: Honestly, I remember how crazed I was in Scarlet's Arena. A Seawing going without water is.... Not fun. So for Tsunami to hold her own and win against that? I'm a little proud. And if I were brought back to the Sea Kingdom, I would probably hug Coral and then immediately start arguing with her about how she's been raising our dragonets in my absence.

Joy: Giilll, did u have a crush on Tempest? If not, then what was your relationship? 

Gill: I did NOT have a crush on Tempest, and at the time of her death, I was happily married to Coral. Tempest and I were old friends, though. Best friends. Sometimes I feel like I was the only one who mourned her. But at least we got justice and revenge on the Mudwings that killed her!

Joy: Yeaaahhhh..... Sure you did!

Gill:.....What do you know?

Joy: Nothing! Nothing. It was totally Mudwings that killed her and not a young version of my assassin father who killed her as his first mission. MOVING ON!

Gill: Hold on-

Joy: HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH TEH BITCH KNOWN AS CORAL?!

Gill:.......I'm going to ignore that comment.

Gill: Well, she was kind to me, and her writing was beautiful, so I guess you could say she wooed me.

Joy: How nice.

Joy: Reunite with Turtle! 

*Turtle appears*

Turtle: *sees Gill, screeches, covers head*

Turtle: I KNOW I'M A DISAPPOINTMENT I'M SORRY.

Gill: Okay, yes, I know we had a bad time with Snapper and everything that happened, but maybe we could put the past behind us?

Turtle:.......

Turtle: You do realize that my brothers basically exiled me after that and I had to use ANIMUS MAGIC to get them to accept me again because I WAS ALONE AND NOBODY CARED ABOUT ME, AND THEN I HAD TO LIVE FOREVER WONDERING IF MY BROTHER'S WOULD'VE FORGIVEN ME OR IF I WOULD'VE BEEN EXILED MY WHOLE LIFE. 

Turtle: SO NO, WE'RE NOT GONNA PUT THE PAST BEHIND US. I'M GLAD TSUNAMI KILLED YOU.

Gill: Yeah, you're probably right.

Turtle: I KNOW I'M RIGHT. *storms out*

Joy:......Well that was entertaining.

Joy: Gill, take this bottle that never runs out of water

Gill: Oh my gosh, THANK YOU.

Joy: Gill. What are your thoughts on your daughters, sons and wife?

Gill: My daughters are little innocent sweethearts, every one.

Joy: Ha. You're joking, right?

Gill: No.

Joy:.....*bursts out laughing*

Gill: My sons are a bit unruly, but they're strong. And my wife is kind, albeit a BIT overprotective.

Joy:......Just a BIT!?!

Gill: Okay, maybe more than a bit, BUT I STILL LOVE HER!

Joy: A perfect transition to the next question. How truly did you love your wife the Queen? Did you always agree with her decisions and stuff like that?

Gill: I loved her through and through as a husband should. Granted, I didn't agree with ALL of her decisions, but what marriage is as perfect as that? I didn't particularly agree with what we did with our sons, but after a certain point, I started to understand. It was hard to remember and connect with them all.

Joy: Hey Gill, how do you feel knowing that you wife disowned one of your 3 living daughters just because she assumes Riptide "is a traitor like Webs"?

Gill: HORRIBLE. You shouldn't assume things about dragons like that. I feel bad for how she treated Riptide, AND SHE DISOWNED OUR DAUGHTER FOR THAT, I SHOULD-

Joy: *snaps talons*

*Coral appears*

Gill: *attacks her*

Joy: Ah, my favorite interview ending.
