Chapter 9- Second Task

  SCARLET'S POV

The next day, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Alexis, Seamus and I were all in the library trying to figure out what we were going to do about
the egg that Harry had, because we have a riddle that we cant solve and the next tournament was in a few hours,
Seamus had his arm around me as I looked over at Harry.

"Harry, tell me again " I asked, he sighed and put his hands in his hands,
"Come seek us where our voices sound. " he started,
"The black lake, that's obvious. " Hermione stated, I nodded in agreement.
"An hour long you'll have to look " Harry continued, I nodded.
"Again obvious, though I must admit potentially problematic " I replied, he looked up at me in surprise,
" Potentially problematic? When was the last time you held your breath under the water for an hour Scarlet? " he asked, I sighed,
"I guess " I replied, Seamus hugged me tighter around my waist from behind/
"Hey don't worry you're trying don't work yourself up on this okay? " Seamus whispered, I turned and smiled while nodding,
"Alright " I replied, he smiled and kissed me on the nose as I turned around,
"Look Harry, we can do this. The six of us can figure it out. " Alexis tried reasoning with Harry,
"Um make that the seven of us " I heard someone say from behind me, Alexis gasped,
"Fred! " she exclaimed as she ran and hugged him, he picked her up since she was small as fuck, and stayed like that as she giggled away,
I slowly turned back around,
"Okkay, anyway so what are we going to do? " I asked, Harry was about to answer when he was interrupted,
"Hate to break up this scholar session but Professor McGonagall would like to see you in her office. Not you Potter,
just Black and Granger " Prof. Moody exclaimed, Alexis and I both stood up, he stopped us.
"No, only Scarlet Black, you stay " He said, Alexis slowly sat back down as I got up with Hermione and walked out of the room, I looked at her as we walked down the hallway,
"Do you think we're in trouble? " I asked, she shrugged her shoulders,
"I don't know, we'll just have to see " she replied, but I could tell that she was just as nervous as I was, we soon reached McGonagall's
office and walked into the room only to see Cho, and Fleur's little sister, we walked up and sat down, she looked up at all of us
and saw the confusion on our faces,
"Don't worry you're not in trouble " she replied, we all sighed of relief, then she got up,
"I called you all down here because you are going to be what the champions need to find" I looked at her,
"What do you mean Prof. " I asked, she looked at me,
"Well I think you listened to the rhyme that the egg said from Harry, Come seek us where our voices sound, we cannot sing above the ground,
an hour long you'll have to look, to recover what we took, basically they took you and you're what they have to find, so Ms. Chang, Mr. Diggory saves you, Ms. Granger, Mr. Krum saves you, Ms. Black, Mr. Potter saves you, so on and so forth " she replied, I nodded along with
everyone else,
"But Prof. the next tournament is under water right? " Hermione asked, McGonagall nodded,
"So how are we going to breath underwater? " she asked, McGonagall nodded,
"Well, we'll be putting you guys asleep until the tournament is over, while you're asleep they'll be a little air pocket around your mouth so that you can breath " she replied, we all nodded as she went over in front of us,
"Wait proffesor you should know that-"
"Now I'm going to put you to sleep now, okay? just drink this antidote and you should be asleep in the matter of seconds " she said while
handing us each a vile of some sort of green substance, I looked at it before drinking it all in one shot, huh, it tastes sort of like
green apples, then I dropped the vile, making it smash on the ground as I felt my eyes droop shut, then everything went dark. How was I supposed to tell them that I couldn't swim?

HARRY'S POV

After they left I was still confused out of my mind what I was going to do on this tournament, I looked over to ask Alexis what I should do,
but when I turned around..............she was making out with Fred. Okay I think they're a good couple and all but honestly they really need
to get a room! I turned back around and sighed, Prof. Moody looked at me, then looked behind me,
"Longbottom! " he yelled, Neville then came out from behind a bookshelf with a book on Herbology in his hands,
"Yes Sir? " he asked,
" Why don't you help Potter put his books back. " Prof. Moody replied, Neville nodded and started putting my books away for me, great,
not only is he putting what I need back in the shelf's, but now I don't have anything to us for breathing for an hour underwater,
"You know, if you're interested in plants you'd be better with Gorshok's Guide to Herbology. Do you know there's a
wizard in Nepal whose growing gravity resistant trees? " Neville asked, I sighed and looked at him,
"Neville. No offense, but I really don't care about plants. Now if there's a Tibetan turnip that will allow me to
breathe underwater for an hour then great. " I replied, it was quiet for a few moments and I was starting to feel guilty, when I was
about to turn around and apologize, he said,
"I don't know about a turnip but you can always use gilliweed. " he replied.
