Ahh stop it! Mary Beth thought. That was the third time Kai crept into her thoughts. She could be thinking about something not even related to people, but then fine some way to think about him.

That handsome blue eyed bastard. This wasn't fair. She just got out of a relationship. He was in a relationship. Their friends. She supposed to be helping him. Before he left to go meet Denise she suggested they do another session.

She was, as expected, making more progress. He had stopped wanting to kill her friends. He admitted that at the beginning of their friendship two months ago he was planning to kill her friends and live his life.

Mary Beth didn't react the way he expected her to. He expected her to get mad or disgusted and kick him out immediately. But Mary Beth said she expected that. Especially with how annoying Damon was.

Stop these imported thoughts.

She was really glad he was making so much progress. He wasn't lying he had abandoned his plan to kill her friends. He wasn't entirely sure what he was doing to be honest.

Kai is so irritating. She couldn't like him. Not in that way. She liked him but as a friend. Nothing more. She thought she was doing better when she went back to writing her English paper when Kai went back into her mind.

DAMMIT ALL TO HELL. She thought rather aggressively. She was so upset she squished her pencil in her hand so hard it broke. One part fell out of her hand onto the floor making people look at her weirdly.

But she didn't care. This isn't what she needed. She needed to focus on her studies. She needed to get Kai out of her mind. So she packed up her things and headed home.

Kai was currently sitting at home with Denise in his arms while they sat on the couch. He decided to tell her he was tired and she suggested they watch a movie.

He still felt as if they weren't right for each other. He felt as if he needed to end things. But then Mary Beth's words rung in his mind again. Mary Beth.

Dammit! He thought. There he goes again. He couldn't stop thinking about her after last night. Being so close to her. Being so comfortable with her.

He hated this. He talked to Damon about it. Damon was hesitant taking about his little sister figure like this especially since it's Kai. But when Elena gave him a glare that could kill he did.

The whole situation was funny to Damon. From his perspective they were in love with each other. But Kai denied that. Damon saw the way Mary Beth looked at him this morning, and he saw the way Kai looked back.

He was getting tired of the whole situation and said they should just bang already. Luckily it got Kai off his back about it which he was glad about. But he was also serious. This meant there was a less chance Kai could hurt Mary Beth.

He just wanted her to be happy. Preferably with someone else. Like someone who wasn't a sociopathic killer but whatever.

As Kai sat there he really started to get annoyed. He tried blocking her out of his mind but it always ended up being her.
