"Wow those animals are freaks." Mary Beth said laying on a blanket outside their tent.

"Big ones." He replied.

It had started to rain but Kai used a spell to make a protective invisible dome over them so nothing got wet.

"We're a dysfunctional couple." She thought aloud.

"Yeah. It doesn't matter though. I like the way we are."

"Me too." She replied getting up to kiss his lips.

She was going to pull away when he pulled her closer. He flipped her over so he was hovering above her.

"Let's make these animals scarred for life huh?"

"I wish we could be this way all the time." Kai said as they sat down eating.

It was their third day here. They were leaving today and they were making the most of it.

"Eating Red Vines in the forest?" She asked.

"No." He laughed. "On our own. No stares or judgmental comments. Away from everything and everyone. Away from all the danger."

"You want to move?" She asked.

"It would be nice. But this is your home. Never mind forget I brought it up."

"No I'm actually glad you said that." She told him.

"What?" He asked.

"I've been wanting to get away for a while. It's really dangerous here. It's not that I can't handle it. But it would be nice to be on our own. Somewhere else."

"Really?" Kai asked smiling.

"Yeah. Let's just do it. Let's get out of town. We could go anywhere and everywhere we wanted. Oh it would be so cool." She exclaimed.

"You'd be willing to leave just like that? With me?"

"Alaric and Jo did it. They visit and we visit. But their away and their happy. Let's do that."

"I would happily travel the world with you." He said reaching over to grab her hands.

"So we're really doing this? We just leave?"

"Yes. Soon. Not now. I want everyone to know before we do leave. But yes."

"Can't wait." She smiled.
