"Come on Beth I- Wait did you just say yes?" Kai asked confused.

"Yeah it should be fun."

Kai had just asked her if she wanted to go away on a trip. Well not trip. He asked her if she wanted to camp. He went once with his family. It was fun until they forgot about him and left him there.

He wanted to get away for a while. It had been a month that they were together and they were still getting stares from there friends. Her friends.

"I didn't think you'd say yes."

"Why?"

"Most girls don't like camping and wildlife. I forgot that you are completely different from most girls."

"Yeah I'm pretty weird. But your dating me so you should get used to it."

"You are aware your dating a former murderer and current sociopath right?" He asked.

"I am. And I don't care." She replied leaning over to kiss him.

"Good because your dating me so you should get used to it." He said against her lips.

She laughed and pulled away from Kai. She decided to get things ready. They were going to leave today very quickly before anyone asked more questions.

Kai still couldn't believe that Mary Beth was with him. After all the things he's done.

Kai was watching Mary Beth with love in his eyes. She was roasting a marshmallow in the fire he made with the biggest smile on her face. She was so excited about getting away and being alone with Kai.

They were in some forest somewhere. She wasn't completely sure because she wasn't exactly listening when Kai told her where they were going. She was too busy thinking about what she was going to do when she got there.

"I'm really happy your enjoying yourself." He said sitting next to her.

"Are you kidding? I freaking love it." She said turning to him excitement gleaming in her eyes.

"I'm glad." He commented as he leaned over to kiss the side of her head.

"Would you mind if I went to chase some fireflies?"

"Such a child."

She smiled and kissed him before running off. She couldn't help it. They were just so cool and pretty she had to catch some.

She ran forward and caught one in her hands. She let it go a second later and it went to join some others. Then she realized something was glowing near a tree.

She walked further and when she saw what it was her eyes lit up and she smiled so wide it hurt her cheeks.

The fireflies had formed together to make the words

"I love you"

She felt hands wrap around her waist and she smiled even wider if that was possible.

"Well I love you too." She said turning in his arms.

He kissed her back with all his love for her. She pouted when he pulled away to say something.

"You know I think I can answer that question now."

"What question?" She asked laying her head down on his chest.

"You asked who I care about about most in the world. Well I've just been thinking a lot lately, who would I pull an "Ariel" for? It's you."

"That is so sweet. I knew I was getting through to you. Your like a big old teddy bear." She exclaimed kissing his cheek.

"Only for you. Don't tell anyone or you'll ruin my street cred." He said kissing down her neck.

She laughed. Only he would say these things. She didn't care. She loved him.

"You know there are most likely a bunch of animals watching us." She said bending her neck so he could have better access.

"Let's give those animals a show then." He replied pushing her back against the tree.

"They'll need some serious therapy." She replied jumping up around his waist when he squeezed her butt.

"It's not my fault there watching. The little freaks."
