"You're brothers just held me captive!" Chris told her as he walked into her house and slammed the door behind him. "You're brothers held me captive and you didn't even know!" He yelled at her.
"Well, I'm not your keeper, Chris!" Mariposa rolled her eyes as she poured herself some orange juice. "Besides, I just thought that you decided to stop being my guardian, like I asked." She took a drink. "Guess I was foolish to think you'd even consider listening to me. Besides, I was busy!"
"Doing what?" Chris asked her.
"Helping the Mikaelsons!" She answered him and he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Have you gotten rid of your emotions?" He asked her skeptically.
"What?" Mariposa choked on her orange juice. "Of course not, they're all there and fine. Kol forced me to keep them around, and to give them a chance." Mariposa lied.
"Are you lying to me?" Chris narrowed his eyes at her. "Where's Kol then?"
"Would I lie to you?" Mariposa asked him with a sweet smile, but it didn't work on him. Mariposa was purposely ignoring the second question.
"You're a demon. It's what you do!" Chris told her matter of factly.
Mariposa raised her hand to her heart. "Ouch!" She spoke sarcastically. "That really hurt my feelings." She took another drink of orange juice.
"You have!" Chris accused as he pointed a finger at her. "You got rid of them!" He walked towards her as he raised his hands. Mariposa widened her eyes and jumped up on the counter and stood in the middle of it.
"Stay away from me!" Mariposa told him. "You can't just always force me to feel!" She told him. "I don't like it, therefore I choose not to feel them. They're all icky and ugh."
"Not a good enough reason!" Chris told her as he also climbed onto the counter. "Now, Mariposa, slowly get off the counter and we'll bring them back, okay?" He asked her.
Mariposa's eyes traveled to his feet then to her drink in her hand, and he instantly knew what she was thinking. Chris held up one finger towards her while being extremely cautious of her actions. "Ah, ah, ah!" He said, but it was too late she lobbed the half full glass of orange juice at him. He dodged it as she jumped off the counter backwards and made a run for the living room, and Chris chased after her.
Mariposa jumped over the sofa, when he came into the room too. "You've nowhere to go!" Chris told her with a small smirk on his face.
"Is that so?" Mariposa asked him with a raised brow, suggesting a challenge was at hand. She looked down at her attire and saw that it was fine, she was wearing just some shorts and a tank top, along with a pair of heels. Mariposa was gonna have to make do with what she had and threw her hands out and he flew into the banister and she sped out of her house and ran into town.

Mariposa had been running for a short while, and she was in the middle of town. Mariposa checked all around her with her eyes scanning everything, she saw nothing and let out a sigh. Mariposa loved a good chase.
However, her eyes soon found Chris running towards her, and she let out a small chuckle before she began to run, but collided right into a body. She fell to the floor and looked up to see Finn. "Mariposa?" Finn asked her in confusion as he saw her on the floor. "Why are you running in those internal shoes? Who are you running from?" He asked. Finn may still feel a little odd with her and may still blame her, but she was family at a time, and he'd always protect her. Out of all his siblings, she was the one that showed most interest in him, and she wasn't even his sibling. Finn helped her up.
