Mariposa turned round in bed and felt warmth of someone and cuddled into their side, it felt nice and familiar. Just as she got comfy in the side of the person, she realised no one should be in her room, let alone her bed. Her eyes shot open and she saw Jehovah laying there with a smirk. "What the hell are you doing?" She snapped with wide eyes. "You creep." She said before she began to hit him with the pillow.
"Woah, woah!" Jehovah said as he took the pillow from her hands. "Hey, don't blame me. I've been here for about an hour or two, and you weren't complaining." He said as he put the pillow back in its place. "You cuddled into my side more than once, and allowed me to play with your hair while you slept. It was nice."
"No!" She snapped as she got out of the bed. "It's creepy, you don't just climb into someone's bed and...act like you belong there." Jehovah sighed as he got out of the bed too. "Get out, right now!"
Jehovah walked over to her and held her face in his hands. "You don't want me to leave, you want me to stay and you want to stay in bed with you." He told her. "Don't worry, it's normal to want that. We were a couple a few thousand years ago. We loved each other unconditionally." Mariposa looked into his eyes and saw that he was being deadly serious and wasn't messing about.
"Yes!" She agreed with him. "We were, but that's all in the past now. It should stay in the past, where it belongs."
"But, I still love you, Papillon." Jehovah said as he let his forehead rest against hers. "I loved you unconditionally, and stuck up for you so many times. Then, when I heard you were getting burnt I was on my way to defend you, but as I arrived you killed your family and then burnt the whole town, including me. I loved you, and in return you burnt me." He said as he walked away from her and sat down. "And for some reason, I still love you, even after you burnt me."
Before she could answer him, her phone began to ring and she picked it up off the side and saw Caroline's ID. "Caroline?" She asked in confusion.
"Are you back from New Orleans?" Caroline asked her.
"I am." Mariposa said.
"We need your help. With Elena." Caroline told her.
"I've already said, I'm not helping you with Elena. For some reason, real deep down I absolutely loathe her and her dead brother." Mariposa explained. "I can't explain it."
"Okay." Caroline said a little disappointed that she wouldn't help, but she understood why. "But can't you just come and be supportive?"
Mariposa sighed as she looked over to Jehovah. "I'm a tad busy right now." She told her. "But, when I'm done, I'll think about it. I promise. Just call me if you need anything." She said before she ended the call and placed it on the side and looked over to Jehovah.
"J, I don't know what you want me to say." Mariposa admitted. "But really, Jehovah. You can't just sneak into my house and get into my bed, while I'm sleeping. We were together thousands of years ago, back when I was a human, that was a very long time ago." She told him as she pulled her bedroom door open and gestured for him to leave.
He stood up and walked towards the door and he stood there in front of her for a short while. "Me and Silas are giving you a few days to decided whether you're going to be working with us." He told her before he placed a hand on her cheek and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her. Mariposa returned the kiss until they parted. "That shows there's still some part of you that loves me, and I promise you, I'll bring it out again. Don't worry, Papillon." He then left out her bedroom door and she shut it behind him with a small sigh.

"So, the guy you loved as a human is working with Silas, and is immortal like Silas, but has no cure to turn him back." Chris said as they sat on the sofa together. "And he is still deeply in love with you."
"Yeah!" Mariposa replied as she ran her hands over her face with a small groan. Chris looked to her and shook his head, he had no idea what they were gonna do about this. "And they're giving me a few days to decide whether I'm going to be working with them." She said. "I mean, would it be so bad if I did work with them?"
"Your friends won't like it!" Chris pointed out. "Especially Damon and Bonnie. They won't like it one bit. They hate Silas."
"I can explain the situation to them." She told him with a small nod. "I can explain that Jehovah is my first love, and that he loves me and has convinced Silas to drop the revenge he and his ancestors had planned for me. Which is a pretty big deal. That was between four thousand and five thousand years worth of rage and hatred for me. They'd understand, right? I mean, it's not that hard to understand."
"They might take it the wrong way, though." Chris pointed out. "They might take it as that you're in love with Jehovah, and has joined his side for love over their friendship." Chris paused. "Do you?"
Mariposa pulled a face as she looked over at Chris. "Do I what?" She asked him.
"Do you love Jehovah?" Chris questioned her.
"What?" She said incredulously. Chris gave her an unimpressed look and she rolled her eyes at him. "I don't know if I'm being honest. I don't think I do, but then, there's a part of me that still does, if you get me." Chris didn't know whether the thing she was feeling was her feelings for Jehovah, or her feelings for Kol which have been concealed down in her deeply.
Instead of voicing this, he simply nodded at her. He wasn't sure what exactly to say, but he knew not to mention Kol, it'd only confuse her. "Okay!" Chris nodded softly as he ran his hands through his brown hair. "Also, I have a question."
Mariposa looked up at him with a raised brow. "That girl you kicked out of your house the other day, could she come over today?" Chris asked her.
Mariposa rolled her eyes at him. "Sure, just don't ruin the house." She warned him with a serious look.
"Good!" Chris said as he stood up. "Because, she'll be over in about an hour." Chris faced her. "That reminds me, you need to get out of the house. I don't really want to be with her, with you upstairs."
"You do know this is my house, right?" She asked him.
"I do, but we share it!" Chris told her. "So, scram."
Mariposa went upstairs to go and get dressed to leave the house for a bit since Chris wanted it to himself with some random girl she threw out of her house about 72 hours ago. But the girl wouldn't remember her mind control, she didn't have to make them forget they had been commanded by her, they just forgot on their own.
After an hour, Mariposa was ready and was about to leave, when Chris ran over to her with her phone. He handed it to her. "Don't forget this!" He told her and she smiled in thanks as she placed it in her pocket. However, as she pulled the door open the girl was standing there about to ring the door bell. "Oh!" The girl said.
"Thalia, she was just leaving." Chris said as he gave Mariposa a look, to which she held her hands up in surrender.
"Alright, alright!" She told her guardian angel. "Would some patience kill you? I mean, this is my house." She told the man before she faced. "Mariposa Le Fay, pleasure to meet you." She held her hand out.
"Thalia Parker." She introduced herself to the devil.
"Hmmm, are you a witch?" Mariposa asked her as she tilted her head to the side curiously.
"I am!" Thalia nodded. "I'm part of the infamous Gemini Coven." Thalia told her. "And, are you a witch? Are you part of a coven?"
"I guess you could say that." Mariposa chuckled before she moved past the girl and looked back at the two. "Don't make my house a mess, I mean it." She said seriously before she got into her car and drove away from the two of them and the two stared after her car, before Chris brought Thalia into the house.
