Mariposa was sat on the sofa as Stefan and Damon tossed a ball over her head. Chris had suggested she stayed with them, and since she was friends with them both now, they agreed that she could stay there, just until Silas leaves. "So what has it been, 8,9 days?" Damon asked.

"About 8 or 9 days." Stefan agreed with his brother as they continued to throw the ball above Mariposa who was laid out on the sofa. "I don't know. I lost count." He admitted.

"We lost count of the consecutive days in which Elena Gilbert has not killed anyone." Damon said as he caught the ball. "I'd say that's progress, brother."

"So, what are we gonna do?" Stefan asked his brother. "Just throw the football around for another 150 years till Elena gets her humanity back? Because I'm cool with that."

"She doesn't want the cure." Damon told his brother. "She's gonna start killing people if she knows we're still trying to get it for her."

"All right." Stefan said before he caught the ball. "We could always, uh, make her want it."

"Yeah." Damon said as Mariposa rolled her eyes. "How are you gonna make an emotionless vampire want anything?" Damon asked his brother.

"Get her to flip her humanity switch." Stefan replied.

"So, what are we gonna do?" Damon questioned his little brother. "Pull a Lexi, bombard her with emotions till one of them sticks?"

"Yeah, and if that doesn't work, then we go to Plan B - lock her up and keep her sidelined until we all figure out a Plan C." Stefan told them both simply.

"And what happens when she gets slammed with every emotion she's repressed since Jeremy died?" Damon asked.

"Well, then you, my friend, will be right by her side ready to help her through it." Stefan told his brother.

"Right, because you don't want to keep reliving history." Damon said. "And when this is all over, you're just gonna get out her life." Damon told his brother sarcastically.

"Bingo!" Stefan said as he held the ball in his hands.

"Little side note, boys!" Mariposa told them. "I'm not helping you with Elena. Elena is your responsibility. My responsibility is to not die at the hands of Silas." She told them. "No time to help you both!"

"You're still helping us, Marie. You're fine with us." Damon said as he pointed at her seriously. "Anyway, how do you both want to do this?" Damon asked as Mariposa rolled her eyes at him, annoyed that he just blatantly ignored what she said.

Mariposa stood up. "Again, I'm not helping you fix Elena." She told them both. "I'm gonna go out, hopefully Silas attacks me so I ain't forced into helping you with Elena." She said before she walked past Damon and left the house.

Mariposa was out in the town, just in a spending spree when she came across Bonnie. Once Mariposa's eyes landed on her, she paused in the middle of the pavement and turned on her heel and headed away from the witch. "Mariposa, wait!" Bonnie called after her. "Mariposa."

Bonnie grabbed the devils arm, but Mariposa ripped it out of her grip. "Are you sure it's entirely wise for you to be talking to me right now?" She asked the witch with a raised brow. "You trapped me inside a house for almost three days, you went to the island and brought Silas here, you severely injured my guardian angel with your stupid and out of control expression magic and you participated in the third massacre - taking Silas an extra step closer to violently murdering me."

"Maripo-"

"Now I think about it, you're the main person involved when it comes to my death." She told the witch with narrowed eyes. "Silas, myself, you, Shane, that pastor and Caroline are all responsible for my impending doom."
