Chapter 11 - "Oh, please, enlighten me to what's happening right now!"

Stefan pulled up outside the school in the car park and herself, Klaus and Stefan climbed out of the car. "Abby just showed up!" Stefan informed them after his phone buzzed.

"Good, perhaps this plan won't be an epic failure after all!" Klaus said. "You know, if this does go off and we drop this history teacher in the Atlantic, I'm still leaving with Elena!" Klaus told him.

"I'll go with you!" Stefan told him making Mariposa scoff.

"Really?" Klaus questioned the vampire. "What's the catch?"

"There's no catch!" Stefan told the Original. "I turn my back on everything here to make sure Elena's safe."

"And that is what makes you her better option!" Klaus told him as Mariposa looked at the Original with a raised brow. She couldn't believe he was rooting for Elena and Stefan. "It's a shame it's not easier for Elena to see that! I mean, personally, I think she's wasting her time with Damon!"

"Is that what you thought about me and Kol?" Mariposa quickly asked. "Thought Kol was wasting his time on me, because the situation is kind of similar yet entirely different at the same time."

"No!" Klaus told her as he shook his head at her softly. "Because I know my brother, he would, and will, stop at nothing to get the one thing he has truly loved unconditionally for the past a thousand years!" Klaus told her. "That thing, Maria, is you. And look, he's gotten you back, so now we all know it was worth the thousand year wait and that you were entirely worth it."

Mariposa was quiet as she slowly nodded her head, before she faced Stefan. "You can finish your conversation!" She told him.

"You know, all that time and energy you spent trying to get me and my brother to hate each other.....it's actually had the opposite effect!" Stefan told the Original.

"Has it?" Klaus chuckled deeply. "Had it really? Well, then perhaps I should let Elena decide which Salvatore joins us. I mean, if you and Damon are so close!" Mariposa hid her smirk at that.

"Ah, go for it!" Stefan said. "Damon and I have been through a hell of a lot worse than you." Stefan then walked away from the both of them and Mariposa scoffed a little as she shook her head.

"He really mustn't know you!" She told the Original.

"He mustn't know you!" Klaus told her. "You're the bloody She-Devil. If anyone's gonna be bad and nightmarish - it's you, love!" Mariposa narrowed her eyes at him jokingly before she rolled her eyes at him.

"Look at this!" Klaus said as herself, Klaus and Stefan joined Damon, Bonnie and Jeremy. "One big happy family!"

"Drink this!" Bonnie instructed them as she gave Damon a vial of her blood. "It's my blood. It bridges us all together so that when i stop  Jeremy's heart, you'll have the power to stop Alaric's. You need to make a physical connection to his bloodstream - a vein, an artery, something connected to his heart."

"One of us gets a clean shot, take it, other three hold him down!" Stefan told them as he took some of Bonnie's blood from the vial Damon handed him.

"Before we all walk through these doors, let's get on the same page, shall we?" Klaus asked the brothers. "I was the one who created your vampire bloodline, therefore I am responsible for your lives. And Tyler's life, Caroline's life, and, of course, Abby's life." He said. "Should anything go wrong!" Klaus took some of the blood from the vial and handed it to Mariposa.

"It won't!" Mariposa assured him. "I'm there!" Mariposa then took the last of the blood in the vial.

"Or, you're just lying to save your ass!" Damon suggested to the Original.
