"What do you want, Mariposa?" Kol asked her with a small sigh. "I'm busy doing things!"

Mariposa rolled her eyes and she sat on her counter. "Well, sorry to interrupt your ever so busy schedule, but if you wish to stay alive you'd better stop doing what you're doing and actually listen to me." She snapped at him. "You may not want to hear my voice or want to listen, but did Klaus and Bekah tell you about the White Oak and...Finn?" She asked as her voice broke towards the end a little.

"They told me about the White Oak a few days ago!" Kol told her. "But what about Finn, Mariposa?" Mariposa noticed her brothers get up, and she really wasn't in the mood to deal with them right now.

"Hang on one second!" She told him as she put the phone on the side. "YOU BETTER LEAVE RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME I WILL KILL YOU AGAIN, ONLY THIS TIME I'LL SET YOU AFLAME. YOU'LL DIE YOUR ORIGINAL DEATH!" Mariposa screamed at her brothers, and they quickly took off. She picked the phone back up. "Anyway, the little group have made White Oak stakes, and a few hours ago, they killed Finn with one."

"What!" Kol asked in shock.

"It was entirely my fault, if I had stopped avoiding getting my emotions back via Chris, then I would've picked up on the situation with my psychic stuff." Mariposa explained to the vampire. "Anyway, they were supposed to take all of them to Klaus, but they kept one." She said as she slipped off the counter and got a drink of orange juice out the fridge. "Alaric and Damon just came to my house, someone's taken it and there's some psycho killer on the loose with the only thing that can kill an Original. I think it'd be best if you tell your siblings about it!"

"You told me, but not them. You do realise I'm in Denver, right?" Kol asked her.

"Well, Klaus would kill them both. Elijah is out of town somewhere I don't know. Rebekah would kill Damon!" She explained to him. "Only other option is you!"

"Oh, right!" Kol said. There was a very long awkward silence, none of them knowing what to say to the other. "Mari, we need to talk about everything, that happened. You should come to Denver, so we can talk!"

"To Denver?" Mariposa scoffed.

"Do you want to sort all this out?" Kol asked her as he sounded a little annoyed.

"Well, being completely honest, I don't mind this distance. You're there, I'm here!" Mariposa shrugged before she took a drink of orange juice.

"I'm coming back eventually, I'm only here to keep an eye on Jeremy Gilbert!" Kol told her. "If I wasn't, we would've sorted this out by now. We need to sort it out, we can't avoid each other forever!"

"I mean, technically, I was willing to talk about it but you threw everything off my table and stormed out!" Mariposa pointed out with an eye roll. "Not my fault you have like, minor anger issues!"

"Not my fault you kissed me back and then you suddenly said we can't be together!" Kol told her. "I've only loved you for 1,000 years, and finally I kiss you, and you say we can't be together because you're afraid to take risks!"

"I'm not afraid of taking risks - I'm not afraid of anything, Kol!" Mariposa told him. "It's you- you know what, I can't have this conversation with you over the phone right now. So, sure, I'll come and hop along to Denver, but we have to sort it out, no half sorting it, or storming away if we don't like what the other says!"

"Okay!" Kol told her. "I'll meet you by the batting cages tomorrow, I'll text you the address in the morning!" He told her before he ended the call on her and she let out a small sigh as she ran her hands through her hair.
