Chapter 10 - "Too bad the bitch didn't stay dead, she was quite pathetic!"

Kol shook Mariposa, who turned onto her side. "Mari, it's Rebekah!" Kol told her, making her groan as she slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them as she sat up. He held the phone out to her, and she took from his hands with a small grumble.

"What is it, Bekah?" She asked with a small yawn.

"What is it with Kol answering your phone, Maria? I me-"

"Is there an actual point to this call, or are you just calling to pry?" Mariposa asked the woman as she got out of bed. "What is it that you actually want, Bekah?"

"You heard of Atticus Shane? A college professor? A tad creepy!" Rebekah asked her as Mariposa breathed in sharply slightly.

"I guess you can say that!" Mariposa said stiffly. "Why?"

"I need you and Kol to kidnap him!" Rebekah said simply.

"Kidnapping isn't really my forte, Bekah!" She told the vampire as she walked down her stairs. "But I'm sure Kol would be delighted to kidnap the Professor. I'll talk to him about it."

"Please do!" Rebekah told her. "Also, bring him to the high school, would you, Maria?"

"So, kidnap Professor, bring him to high school." Mariposa listed as she saw Chris sitting at the table eating his breakfast with a glass of orange juice. "Got it, we'll be there and I'll text you when we've got him!"

"Thank you, Maria!" Rebekah said as she ended the call on the devil, who slid her phone on the side, and opened the fridge and grabbed a glass and poured some orange juice in her cup.

"What did my sister want, darling?" Kol asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist before she put her glass down.

"She wants you to kidnap Atticus Shane, the creepy professor!" Mariposa informed him. "You have to take him from his college, I'll send Chris with you. Bring him to the high school." She told him as Chris looked up at them both.

"What?" Chris asked his mouth full of cereal. Kol and Mariposa looked over at him.

"You're gonna go kidnap the Professor, and bring him to the school." She told them both with a small smile. "I would but, well, Bonnie knows me and she tends to be following him around like a lost little puppy. She'd notice me walking into his office. You two, not so much!" She explained. "But, I'll meet you both outside the school."

Mariposa was leant against the wall near the back doors of the school, tapping the heel of her heel against the wall as she stood on one leg. Chris had text her not that long ago, saying they had the Professor. That was about five minutes ago.

Mariposa was growing impatient now, which was the main reason for her heel tapping against the wall. After a few minutes, they appeared and she smiled upon seeing them all. "Finally!" She told them sourly. "You were taking forever. What you do? Stop for a whole five course meal?"

"Now you're being a little dramatic!" Chris told her as she pulled open the doors and they all walked through them, with the exception of Shane, who was being dragged along by Kol and Chris. They were following after Mariposa, who knew exactly where Rebekah was, since Rebekah had text her where at least five minutes ago.

Mariposa pulled open the library doors and herself and Kol peered in to see Rebekah holding Stefan, Elena and Caroline at a table in the library. "Sister..." Kol said just as he realised what was going on. "Look at this. You're even worse than Klaus." Kol said as Elena, Stefan and Caroline looked over to him.

"Kol, Mariposa. Finally!" Rebekah said. "Did you bring me what I asked for?" She asked them both.

"Yes, my darling guardian angel and Kol went all the way to his stupid college, and kidnapped him!" Mariposa told her with a sweet smile before Chris threw the Professor through the doors. The three of them walked past the threshold of the door.
