Mariposa decided to stay away from everyone for a couple of days, and it seemed she missed a lot. It seemed Elena's little brother was killed, and she turned her humanity off because 'it was too much for her' and she burnt her house down with her brothers dead body inside it. Mariposa guessed she missed a lot, and for some reason the Salvatore brothers had called her over to their boarding house.
"We're gonna loose her, Damon!" Stefan said, while Mariposa rolled her eyes at him.
"She needs time!" Damon said. "It's only been a couple of days."
"Her humanity is off." Stefan reminded him. "She's basically numb to everything that makes her who she is."
"She's a vampire." Damon said slightly incredulously. "The off switch is one of the biggest perks." He poured himself and Mariposa a drink. "When being undead gets you down, voila. Vampire prozac." He handed Mariposa the drink.
"She burned down her family home with her brother's dead body still inside." Stefan reminded him.
"Saves us the trouble of having to do it ourselves." Damon said. "I call that a win. Worse case scenario, I'll invoke the sire bond and tell her to turn it back on."
"No!" Stefan said. "Her brother just died. You force all that grief on her at once, it's gonna overwhelm her. We need to give her a reason to want to turn it on." Mariposa rolled her eyes as she downed her drink, she didn't like Elena, she didn't know why, she just didn't like her.
"Well, you're complaining about her having her humanity off, yet when Damon gives you a solution, you deny it." Mariposa suddenly said a little annoyed at the younger Salvatore. "Make a bloody decision."
"Marie is right!" Damon told his brother as Mariposa sat down. "We'll show her a good time." Stefan instantly pulled a face which suggested he didn't like this idea either, making Mariposa narrow her dark eyes at him. "I know it's controversial, Stefan, but people actually like to have fun."
"You really think that's gonna work?" Stefan asked his brother.
"There's only one way to find out!" Damon replied.
Mariposa stood from the sofa. "Do I entirely have to help?" She asked them both with a raised brow. "Because if I'm being entirely honest with the both of you, I don't like her. Which means I'll hate no-humanity Elena, which also means I won't stand for none of her emotionless shit, she does something to me, I'll break her neck, if I'm in a good mood. If in a bad mood," Mariposa chuckled darkly, "you don't want to know what I'll do."
Stefan and Damon shared a look. "Fine!" Damon decided. "But that doesn't mean we won't bother you." She smiled sweetly at him before she left their house and went to find Klaus.

"I just decided to spend some time with my all time favourite Mikaelson!" Mariposa told Klaus as he looked at her very unimpressed as she lay on his sofa with one leg draped over the back of it.
"What is it really, Maria?" Klaus asked her.
"Fine, I'm spending some time here so Damon and Stefan don't bother me with helping no-humanity Elena." Mariposa told him as she sat up. "It's really annoying."
"Very well!" Klaus replied as he went to sit beside her, but the door was banged, causing them both to walk towards the door.
Klaus opened it to reveal Damon Salvatore, making Mariposa let out an annoyed sigh. "Ah, what an unpleasant surprise?" Klaus spoke as Damon walked in and his eyes landed on Mariposa.
"I came here to get rid of you!" Mariposa told him matter of factly. "But it turns out you just love my company so much, that you come all the way here. How wonderful!"
