Damon and Stefan had called her over to Elena's house because apparently there was something of importance that she needed to help them with, so she slipped out of Kol's house and drove back to Mystic Falls. Mariposa opened her door and walked in. "You lost her?" Bonnie asked as she joined them.

"Lost who?" Mariposa asked as she made her hair look neat and not a mess.

"They lost Elena!" Bonnie told her as they all noticed her mess of a hair, but decided not to mention it.

"They lost Elena?" Mariposa asked in disbelief. "How'd you even manage that, honesty?"

"Well, 'lost' is a very strong word!" Damon told the witch and devil. "We just technically don't know where she is."

"Basically means the same thing!" Mariposa told him in a whisper with an eye roll, causing Bonnie to smile faintly at the older woman, and Damon to give the devil a pointed look.

"I'm more worried about what Klaus said about this hunter's curse." Stefan spoke up as Mariposa narrowed her eyes at the Salvatore in wonder. She began to wonder if he was talking about the five's hunter curse, she decided he was since there was a member of the five in town.

"How does Klaus even know about this?" Bonnie asked.

"How does Klaus know anything?" Damon said. "The guy's like a billion years old."

"A thousand!" Mariposa corrected him. "Klaus is like, a thousand years old!"

Damon was about to reply to her, but Stefan beat him to it. "He said it was a witch's curse!" Stefan explained to the two of them.

"You know if I could do anything to help, I would but I-" Bonnie began to say, but got cut off by the older Salvatore.

"But nothing!" He told the witch rather harshly. "Wave your magic wand, hocus pocus, be gone, hunter, ghostess, whatever."

"The spirits won't let me do the magic I need to break the curse!" Bonnie told the vampire as she leaned over the table. "But I can ask Shane for help. He knows everything about everything." Mariposa shifted uncomfortably at the mention of his name, the only thing coming to mind was Silas, and how he had the only dagger that could kill her for good.

"Great!" Stefan commented. "You two do your thing!" He began to walk away.

"Where you going?" Damon asked his brother.

"To get her back!" Stefan answered simply.

"Stefan, wait!" Mariposa called out finally as she let out a sigh, and Stefan looked at her with a raised brow, prompting her to hurry up and talk. "If she's dealing with the five's hunter curse, the best place for her to be is away from people and somewhere where she can't hurt herself. Being with Klaus is a good thing, he's gone through that curse, he knows!" She explained.

"You know about the curse?" Stefan asked her.

"Please!" Mariposa scoffed with an offended look. "You expect Klaus, a thousand year old vampire, to know what it is but not a 4,500 plus year old devil? You wound me!" She paused for a second. "She's a danger to herself and others with that curse, it's best to leave her with Klaus, he's experienced what she is going through. He understands!" Stefan simply walked out and she rolled her eyes at the vampire with a heavy sigh.

Mariposa got to the high school before Damon and Bonnie, she was standing around waiting when she found an exhibit. She narrowed her eyes and walked towards it to see Shane talking to people. "You're looking at what people believe to be the world's first tombstone. This item was donated to Whitmore college last month. It belonged to a very powerful witch. A witch so powerful, in fact, that Silas - that was his name - created a spell that would grant him....immortality."

Mariposa widened her eyes at the mention of his name, and to think he had immortality, it worried her that he would pop up any place now, and could easily kill her with her dagger. He could slip into her house and stab her with the dagger in her sleep.

"Now legend says that Silas did the spell with the help of a lady witch who loved him, a woman named Qetsiyah." Shane continued to explain to everyone gathered around. "Sadly, for Qetsiyah, Silas wanted to give immortality to another woman. So Qetsiyah killed her and buried Silas alive, leaving him powerless, immortal and alone, and without his planned revenge fulfilled - but that's a completely different legend to this one - so we'll leave it for now. This might actually be the origin story of hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

A few people chuckled as Mariposa began to feel more and more worried about this Silas. Mariposa saw Shane look over at her again, as did Damon. "Now, it's said that Silas wants to rise again. Regain his power, wreak havoc on the world, to fulfil his planned revenge out on another very powerful witch, who is also immortal." Shane looked pointedly at her. "Maybe we should be afraid, as should the woman he plans revenge on." He took a dramatic pause and Mariposa ran her hands through her hair. "Or maybe it's just a bunch of crap and that's just an old rock." People laughed as Damon stood beside her. "All right, listen, enjoy exploring the exhibit, I'll be around to answer any questions. Thank you for coming!"

"Maybe we should talk about him!" Damon told her as he lead her out of the room and onto the street outside the high school. "What's with the looks he keeps giving you, huh?" Damon questioned her. Mariposa stayed quiet. "Out with it!" Mariposa looked up at him, and Damon could see a hint of fear in her eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked now more concerned.

"What I tell you, you have to keep to yourself, understand?" Mariposa asked him seriously. "Entirely to yourself, you can't tell a soul, because I haven't told anyone yet. Promise me, Damon. Promise me you won't tell anyone!" Damon raised a brow and saw how serious she was, so he agreed.

"Okay, I won't tell a soul of what you tell me now!" Damon promised her. "You know I'll keep it because you're my friend!"

Mariposa nodded softly. "This Silas guy, he's real. And the powerful witch he had a planned revenge plan on, is me. What I did to my town, destroyed his ancestors life at the ripe age of 10, maybe 11. He wants revenge on me for destroying her life and his families life." She explained to the vampire. "He wants to kill me, and Shane in there, he's a follower of Silas. All his followers know of me too!"

"But, he can't kill you, right?" Damon asked her. "You're already fully dead, you can't kill what's already dead, right?" Mariposa noted he sounded slightly concerned.

Mariposa slightly shook her head as she looked at the floor. "There is one thing in the entire world that can kill me, Damon." She muttered softly, but he still heard her. "And he has it in his possession. He's been buried with it. The only thing that can kill me, and he has it. Shane's trying to bring him back, and he knows who I am and what will happen to me if Silas comes back!" Mariposa looked back at the school. "I can't go in there and stand before him, I have the urge to kill him. So, I might just go home. Don't tell a soul, not even Kol knows of the danger I'm in, and the danger he will be in if Silas comes back. Silas will use my loved ones against me, so he can eventually stab me in the heart with the dagger."

"It's alright!" Damon told the older woman before he brought her into a hug, which she returned. "I'll tell Bonnie that something came up with Klaus and that you had to go, that he needed your help with something. Go home, and relax the best you can. We won't let Shane bring Silas back, I promise!" Mariposa nodded before she pulled out of his grip and went back to her car to drive back home.
