Mariposa slowly opened her eyes, and took in her surroundings. She saw a few figures off in the distance and she sat up as she rubbed her aching neck. Mariposa looked around the room and saw she was set down on a sofa, in a place she had never been before. "Where the fuck am I?" Mariposa asked, alerting them all in the room that she was now awake. Klaus, Elijah, Kol and a man she didn't know turned round.

The man she didn't know was instantly at her side. "Do you remember what happened?" He asked her.

Mariposa furrowed her brows. "Of course I do, my stupid brothers attacked me." She told the man as she stood up. "Who are you?"

"I'm your guardian!" The man informed her. "I'm Chris Halliwell!"

Mariposa laughed at him. "Yeah, I don't have a guardian." She told him seriously. "Trust me, I'm not the type of person who has a guardian! You're relieved of your guarding duty!" She sighed. "I can handle my brothers!"

"Didn't look that way when you were on the side of the road!" Chris told her a matter of factly. "Why were you even stopped on the side of the road?"

"Why did you bring me to these people?" Mariposa asked as she gestured to the three brothers.

"What are you, a lawyer? Answering a question with a question!" Chris told her.

"That means nothing to me since I have no idea what a lawyer is!" Mariposa pointed out with a small shrug. "And I can handle them just fine, there's not much they can do to me anyway!"

"I brought you here because these people are literally the only people on earth, besides your brothers, who know you." Chris pointed out. "And may be the only ones willing to help you. These people are the Originals, they can help you. He's the infamous Niklaus Mikaelson." Mariposa looked clueless. "Don't you ever check who's due into Hell when they die?" She shook her head at him.

"That's a great plan, Christopher!" She told him with a sweet smile. "Just a teensy little problem." She pointed to Klaus. "Hates me." She pointed to Elijah. "Hates me." She pointed to Kol. "He literally just made it clear that he hates me! Then their older brother loathes me for everything that's happened to them. Their sister most likely hates me. Anyone I ever met on earth and became friends with, hates me." She paused and looked to him with a tilted head. "I guess that's what you get for being the devil. Not THE devil, but the devil. Guess that's what I get for being in charge of downstairs, partially!"

"What do you mean, Hell?" Chris asked her as he walked towards her. "I thought you came from the Other Side, like your brothers."

Mariposa shook her head at her supposed guardian. "No, I made it to Hell. The Other Side was made years after I died. Not sure how my family got in there in the first place!" She shrugged. Mariposa then smirked to them both. "Now I know they came from there and not upstairs, like yourself, I can kill them again. Goodie!" She grinned before she walked away but Chris grabbed her arm.

Mariposa whipped round. "Don't kill your brothers, Mariposa!" He told her. "It won't do you any good!"

"Too late, I've already done it once. I can do it a second time!" Mariposa told him as she pulled her arm from his grip. Chris knew what she was doing as soon as his hand made contact with her skin.

"Mariposa, you can't keep burying your emotions and feelings!" Chris told her. "I'm sorry!" Chris' hands began to glow white before he placed each hand on either side of her head. Klaus, Elijah and Kol watched confused.

Mariposa dropped to her knees as she screamed into her hands, while Chris' hands were still on her head. "Hey, that's enough!" Klaus told him as he removed the man's hands from the woman's head. She may have left them without an explanation, but he still cared for her.
