Mariposa awoke in the same room as yesterday, it seemed she had stayed over Jehovah's again. She made her way downstairs and saw him making breakfast. "Did you sleep on the couch again?" She asked him.

"No, I slept in the bath." Jehovah told her. "Of course I did. I can't go in Silas' room for at least a few weeks and I feel like you'd be slightly uncomfortable if we slept in the same bed. Considering last time."

"That was because you just arrived unannounced." She told him. "I went to sleep on my own and woke up with you beside me." She paused. "I can stay at mine tomorrow, I don't even know why I stayed at yours."

"Yeah, do you remember last night?" Jehovah asked as he continued to cook at the hob.

"Erm, yeah." Mariposa nodded as she let her hand travel to where Jesse had bitten her, and rubbed it slightly with a distant look as she remembered exactly what happened.

"Well, you were feeling a little weak so I brought you here instead." He told her. "And because I want to talk to you about something." He put some food on two plates and placed them on the table as they both sat down, and she looked down at the food nervously, she had no blood on her.

"Ehhh, Jehovah?" She asked as she awkwardly scratched the back of her neck slightly. He looked up at her as he shovelled some food into his mouth. "I kinda need blood after having any normal food, else it doesn't really agree with me. The whole being dead thing, obviously a dead body doesn't require food, so if I eat it, it makes me feel a bit uneasy and I end up bringing a lot more than I ate up." She told him.

"That's okay, I'm sure I have some blood bags around." He told her. "After all, I am immortal." He told her.

"Okay, that's okay." She nodded as she began to eat the food he had prepared for them both, and it was quiet for a bit, which she liked as she didn't have to explain the whole Jesse exploding and then suddenly having his blood and guts all over them, but then he spoke.

"So, last night." Jehovah told her. "What was that?"

"Oh." She said as she swallowed her food painfully early and looked up at him. "Well, that was me panicking. Even though I can't die by being drained of blood, I didn't want to die as I feel everything that happens to this body. So, I kinda turned my blood to poison, and he took in quite a lot of that poison." She told him as she avoided his gaze.

"And...he exploded because?" Jehovah asked her. "I only ask because, well, poison doesn't usually make vampires explode."

"Well, I'm not just a witch, am I?" She asked him. "I'm a witch-demon hybrid, and well, I don't think my demon side appreciated being food and while it was inside him, it must have done something to his molecular structure and made sure he wasn't able to heal and made sure he died." She looked up at him and looked him in the eyes. "I had absolutely no idea that he was gonna explode all over us, I've never been fed on and it shows."

"But, would that happen if a vampire drank your actual blood since your blood is you." Jehovah asked her.

"I guess it could, yeah." She nodded before she placed some more food in her mouth. She ate it as quick as she could. "But I don't think there will be many willing candidates to try that out."

"I guess not." Jehovah mumbled. "But, that is a very wondrous thing, you know. Like, I've never heard of anything like that, it's like a brand new thing." He paused for a second. "Well, at least you have something secret and hidden against future enemies, they'll explode if they attack you and drink your blood."

"I guess so." She said softly. "But, it's not really a good thing for me. What if I were to heal someone in desperate need, and instead of healing them, I blow them up? That wouldn't be a good look whatsoever."
