Mariposa had returned to Mystic Falls, Kol said that he'd be along soon enough, and that she should see how Klaus and Rebekah were doing. She agreed and got in her car and drove all the way back to Mystic Falls.
As she pulled up outside her house she saw Klaus waiting outside with a box in his arms. She let out a small sigh and got out the car. "Klaus, what a surprise!" Mariposa said sarcastically. "What can I do for you? Why are you outside my house? You've been invited in, you could've gone in and made yourself comfortable!" She said as she walked towards him.
"And risk you thinking I am an intruder or one of your brothers?" Klaus asked her.
"Good point!" Mariposa decided. "What do you want, Klaus?"
"Maria, Rebekah has set up a dance at the school. The twenties, Mariposa!" Klaus told her. "A little thought, go as my date to this dance. That way I don't go alone and you don't stay alone wallowing about how much you miss my dear brother and how much you want to take him to bed and-"
"Okay, okay!" Mariposa spoke over him. "Do not finish that sentence or I will snap your neck!" She told him as she grabbed the box and let him into her house. "So, you want me to go to this party as your date and wear some infernal dress from some random time period called the twenties!"
"Basically, yeah!" Klaus nodded. "I promised Rebekah I'd go. I said I'd bring you!"
"Very well!" Mariposa sighed as she went upstairs. "Give me a moment to get dressed!"

Mariposa stood in front of the mirror in her room, the dress was odd in her opinion. It was a short dress, which she didn't mind since she was used to short dresses, she wore them in hell more times than she can remember. It was white and it's material was kind of fluffy. She has a kind of fluffy overcoat too, with a white kind of headband. She had her black hair down and straightened.
Mariposa had a pair of white silver shoes and they were quite high, which she also didn't mind. "Klaus!" She yelled, and within a few seconds he was up the stairs.

"Does this look okay?" She asked him as she spun round and faced him.
"It looks fine, Mariposa!" Klaus told her. "You look beautiful, and your dress goes with my suit. Now, let's go, we're late as it is!" Klaus complained as they both used their speed to get to the school within seconds.

Klaus and Mariposa walked into where everyone was dancing and she wrinkled her nose in disgust, the dancing was rather weird. Mariposa had never really grasped dancing like this, it was odd and very weird.
They stopped and stared at a couple dancing, when the man finally noticed them. "Where have you been, mate?" Klaus asked him.
"I just got back in town!" The man answered Klaus.
