Bruce and Ed: *chatting about Oswald and Jeremiah in a cafe* 

Bruce: Well, at least you got the better end of the stick. 

Ed: What are you talking about? At least, you didn't lose your girlfriend. 

Bruce: Yeah, but Selina's sometimes my girlfriend and sometimes she's just a girl who is a friend. 

Ed: Well put. 

Bruce: At least, Oswald never tried to blow up the city or the bridges. 

Ed: Touche to that. 

Bruce: Sometimes, when I look at Jeremiah, whenever he's wearing one of his really loud outfits, which are so loud that I can't hear most of the shit that he says, he's either talking shit about almost everyone in Gotham, he mostly does that to Selina, or he's just rambling on and on about how he will never find someone like me anywhere else and how I will never find someone like him, but I always think that thought, that only introverts, the supreme court jury, and every talk show host can have, "Is he having a mental breakdown in the form of clothes he wears to express it or is he doing it because he's as bored and angry as an incel, whose never had a girl to treat like a queen in his life?" Because I know what I'm picking! 

Ed: *starts to snicker* That just sums up Oswald for me. Only I already know if and when he's having a mental breakdown, because he's always having a mental breakdown. 

Bruce: True. 

*Both clink their Styrofoam coffee cups*
