Even If Nobody Knows | Dimitri Blaiddyd

"Y/N! We do not have time for such games!" Dimitri spat out, his cheeks flushing.

"Come on, dear," You mused, "We only have thirty minutes for this break. The least we can do is spend time together."

"Spending time together doesn't have to include questionable things in an empty hallway. What if we get caught? This is a secret, remember?"

You rolled your eyes. If Dimitri wasn't going to give you affection willingly, you'll just have to force it out of him. You smiled brightly and grabbed his hand.

"Yes, I remember. I suppose you're right, we should hang out with our friends instead. I know most of them are still in the classroom. Let's go there!"

You dragged him out of the dormitory hall and back to the Officer's Academy, walking to your classroom. The rest of the class gave you questioning looks, but you shook your head, still smiling. Staying true to your word, you sat in between Sylvain and Ashe, with Felix behind you. Dimitri took a seat beside Felix.

"Hey, Sylvain?" You faked puppy-dog eyes, "Can I sit by you for this lesson? Mercedes isn't here today."

Sylvain looked up at you, his eyes widening slightly and his cheeks slightly flushing. He quickly got over the shock, a smirk appearing on his face. "Why of course you can! It would be lovely to have my favorite friend next to me."

You looked across the table at Dimitri. His normally baby blue eyes seemed to possess a darker hue to them. You smirked.

All throughout the class, you and Sylvain continued to whisper and talk. You helped each other with problems and were partners in a strategy activity. You could feel Dimitri's stare from where you sat, and you were sure Sylvain did too. Every small touch or whisper made the holes he was burning into your backs go deeper and Dimitri would huff occasionally.

Unfortunately for you, though, all hell broke loose once you hugged Sylvain for getting a perfect score on your activity.

The bell had rang and before Byleth had even officially dismissed the class, Dimitri had grabbed your wrist and yanked you through the hallways, pushing through the crowds of knights and students. Eventually, you ended up behind the stables.

Preventing you from talking, Dimitri shoved you against the wall and harshly collided his lips with yours.

You and Dimitri were relatively new to the relationship game- you hadn't even kissed yet- so you certainly weren't expecting this.

The kiss was sloppy and your lips were probably bruised, but it was magical. His arm wrapped around your waist while the other cupped your jaw, his thumb rubbing circles in your cheek as his kiss got gentler. You wrapped your arms around his neck and buried your fingers in his hair, pulling him so close that there was no space left in between.

Soon, he released your lips and gazed into your eyes- his own still dark. "I didn't like that little show you put on."

"Show? What show?" You asked innocently.

"Don't act like you don't know. Flirting with Sylvain. Being all touchy and sweet. You're mine." He pressed a kiss under your ear. "Even if no one else knows it, you're mine. Only I am allowed to love you."

"I love you too." You smiled softly again, burying yourself into the crook of his neck while he continued to hug you. "Even if no one else knows"

"Well, uh, everyone knows now."

A voice startled the two of you, breaking you out of the embrace. There stood the rest of the Blue Lions- some smirking, some surprised, some smiling warmly at you. The owner of the voice, Ingrid, stood in front.

"W-what? How did you all know we were here?" Dimitri stumbled over his words.

"We followed you, duh." Sylvain answered, "You ran out so quickly, we just knew something was up! So of course, we had to investigate."

Ingrid nodded. I just wish you guys would've told us sooner! We're so happy!"

You smiled and looked up at Dimitri. He was already looking at you. The look in his eyes made your heart flutter and you wanted to look into them forever. You had never been regarded with such softness, admiration, and love before. Dimitri tightened his arm around your waist once again and rubbed his thumb into your hip. He pulled you close and pressed a kiss against your temple.

You were happy with him and you always would be. Even if nobody knows.
