- so whoever marries him obviously brings out his emotions and happy side
- having a kid with him is the literal best thing ever, mainly because he's so so so soft in private
- when the baby is first born, byleth nearly cries as he holds them
- he's terrified to hurt them, seeing as though he's more of a fighter than a lover, and it's funny to see just how gentle he is with his baby
- it's endearing, though, to see just how much he truly cares for this baby
- if they're a girl, he'll make sure to protect her from any boys. sure, he'll let her date eventually, but he just wants the best for his little girl
- "dad, please stop you're scaring him away! we're just friends!"cut to byleth, glaring holes into some 13 year old boys head as the poor boy trembles in fear

- female byleth canonically opens up more and more throughout the game, so when she has her baby she's crying
- this little bundle of joy is hers and she will literally kill whoever tries to hurt them
- she's a very protective mother
- she likes to wear that little baby carrier on her chest and when she teaches sometimes the baby is just chillin there
- will literally hiss at someone if they touch them
- if she has a girl, she teaches her to go against toxic masculinity and stuff
- "you're a girl! you can't fight!"cue byleths daughter beating the shit out of the bully in a training battle
- she's just as strong as her mother
- if byleth has a son, he's 100% a mommas boy
- i can just imagine them sitting in the dining hall, her son smiling brightly up at her
- he can be playing with ashe in the courtyard but once he sees her, he goes running towards her for a hug
- she teaches him that girls are just as strong as boys and it's not okay to be mean or judge anybody- unless they deserve it
- her son grows up to be pretty ruthless on the battlefield, just like his momma
