You sat at the meeting table in Fortuna Entertainment, an awkward silence sitting amongst you and the other idols as you waited for Maiko. You sat in between Itsuki and Tsubasa, trying to avoid eye contact with the man in front of you.
Yashiro was a strange one. He'd always been distant and calculating, even since before he joined the company. Throughout his time, though, he began to warm up to everyone. He'd greet everybody in the mornings, go out to lunch with them, accompany everyone on missions more happily, and just was an overall warmer person.
Except with you.
Yashiro was always something of an asshole towards you. He'd never join you on missions when you asked, never tell you good morning, nothing. Sometimes, he wouldn't even acknowledge your presence. You were, quite frankly, sick of it.
You looked up at the purple-haired boy, not expecting to meet his eyes. He was already looking at you. You moved your head, silently asking 'what?'. Yashiro simply shook his head, rolling his eyes slightly before looking at Ellie, who had begun talking. You tried to pay attention to her, but you couldn't. Not with Yashiro's eyes beginning to bore back into you as he stopped listening to her. You were beginning to get frustrated with him, so you pulled out your phone and opened the messages, typing under the table.
To Yashiro: 'Stop staring at me.'
To (Y/N): 'I can't'
To Yashiro: 'And why not?'
To (Y/N): 'I don't know, but you interest me.'
Your heart skipped a beat. What? You interested him? You were twiddling your fingers, trying to think of a reply, when Maiko walked in. Instead, you put your phone in your pocket and looked up at her, hoping that your face wasn't too red. Your phone buzzed again and you peeped at it, seeing another text from Yashiro.
To (Y/N): 'Meet me in Harajuku after this.'
You looked up again, meeting Yashiro's eyes before you both turned back towards Maiko as she talked about the latest updates on a new Illusory realm.

On a Friday afternoon, Harajuku was booming. You were standing next to Crepes Dia, scrolling through social media. You were wearing sunglasses to hide your identity, but Yashiro still recognized you and came up to greet you. He was also wearing sunglasses and a hat, covering his most distinctive features. You both turned to the small restaurant and ordered, taking your crepes and sitting at a small table in the sun.
"So," You began, "You're.. interested... in me. Why?"
Yashiro finished chewing before he took a small breath and took off his sunglasses, revealing his mix-matched eyes. You'd noticed them long before, but to have them finally looking at you was breathtaking. "Uh, yeah. I'd always been interested, I just didn't know how to go about it."
"So instead of flirting or acting like a normal person, you made me think that you hated me."
"I- You thought I hated you?" He cocked his head, a small strand of white falling out of his cap.
"Yeah? Why wouldn't I? Yashiro, you never talked to me. You wouldn't even look in my direction until today." You were starting to get irritated. Did he really not realize what he did?
"Oh," He looked away, "I'm sorry. I'm not the best with... flirting. I thought that if I stayed away from you, I could avoid catching feelings for you. Obviously, that didn't work and I was an asshole to you for no reason. I'm really sorry, but you don't have to forgive me."
You thought for a moment. Yashiro was an ass, yes, but the man had a slightly traumatic past. Hell, his father disappeared in thin air. He kind of had an excuse to try to keep people at an arm's distance. You were glad that he apologized and wanted to change, though.
"It's okay." You replied after a bit.
"That's fine, I respect your decision- wait, what?"
You giggled a bit, "I forgive you. Yeah, it hurt a bit, but I understand. I'm just- I'm glad that we're okay now."
Yashiro let out a breath, laughing slightly. It was a beautiful sound, as was his smile. It was the first time you had ever seen it. "I'm happy, too. And- and I know it's so sudden- me confessing my feelings to you after treating you so poorly after all this time. You don't have to answer me now, or at all-"
You cut him off my leaning over the table, pressing a light kiss to his cheek. "You interest me too, Yashiro. But let's go slow, yeah? I've got to get used to seeing this side of you."
"Of course," He replied, "and this side of me? I hope that isn't a bad thing."
"No, definitely not," you smiled again, "I think I'm definitely going to enjoy it."
