Di ba masarap makinig ng music habang nagsusulat ng kwento?
At masarap ding gawing inspirasyon ang isang kanta sa pagsusulat.
Songs are also stories; we all know that.
Kaya naman dahil sa malikot kong utak, nagsimula ako ng isang one-shot writing contest na directly uses a song as an inspiration. Mahilig tayong lahat makinig ng mga kanta kaya't alam kong kahit papano ay madali ito.
At para maging inspirasyon sa contest na ito, ginamit ko ang mechanics ng isa sa pinakasikat na interactive singing contest sa buong mundo, ang The Voice. Ngunit dito, hindi boses ang puhunan, kundi ang kakayahan mong i-incorporate ang creative lyrics ng isang kanta sa kwento mo.
Gaya ng The Voice, may mga judges/coaches na silang huhusga at magbibigay ng advice sa mga entries niyo sa contest na ito. Last season, nagkaroon tayo ng tatlong judges/coaches na may kanya-kanyang team - Team Mick, Team Hope, at Team Fall. And last season seems to be a success! We are so overwhelmed sa mga support niyo, that's why we renew Liriko for a new season! (Liriko I is still in progress, you can read the Finale entries in its designated book)
At sa season na ito, sasamahan tayo ng isang bagong judge that will surely get you infected. Yep, you guessed it right. Si @UndercoverWerewolf, the mastermind of the pandemic Pandemia, ang sasama sa Liriko family, at siya ang magiging coach ng #TeamKen.
Tulad ng season one, magkakaroon ang contest ng five rounds - The Battles, The Knockouts, The Playoffs, The Showdown, and The Finale - kung saan naman masusukat ang totoo niyong galing. There will also be a special round para sa mga judges, The Revenge, kung saan niyo makikita ang way and style of writing nila para makapili kayo ng gusto niyong judges, if needed.
At syempre, ano ba ang isang contest kung wala itong prize?
And to top it all up, Liriko is now in partnership with WattMag PH, the fast-rising online magazine created by the force of creative writers of Wattpad.
What's new for Liriko 2:
- Introduction of the 4th judge
- Auditions are halved to 2 waves to piece the big chunk of 'entries to read' to smaller ones
- 12 members each team (48 contestants in total)
- Additional 'Steal' for the winning coach in Liriko 1
